Knowledge Is Power

Soul-G is a 23 year old self made Native American artist who currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona. The love for music originated from during his years as a toddler, with his father being a former drummer for a local church band “Gospel Melodees”. While spending most of his time outside as a child in his neighborhood he caught onto his environment quickly noticing how things can take a turn in an instant. His parents had tried to give him everything a child could wish for, however they had their ups and downs in life. Soul grew up on the north side of Phoenix near Sunny Slope on 19th Ave and Dunlap, and experienced his own trials and tribulations as an adolescent. He started getting involved more into music in his 8th grade year, which was when poetry was introduced as an assignment. Learning to cope with his emotions differently he noted that he could vent this way which was music, one day he took a jab at music production and spent countless hours into perfecting his craft. Becoming his own producer he recorded several songs and released a few singles which gained attention from his peers. During his high school years was when he became a bit more consistent, but struggled to keep up school and work. With his first show being at The Rhythm Room he started performing more than usual and got an opening act for Lil Tjay at The Stratus Event Center late 2019. During 2020 he had went through his roughest moments of as a young adult losing his friend, shut down and closed off he took the time he had and began working on his mixtape. With so much pain and resentment he releases his emotions through his art, and has accomplished so much within the span of 6 years.
