Nikko Rogers is a Hip Hop Artist and Songwriter who is better known by his name Youngsta 'The 80s Baby'. Youngsta, a Native of the North Side of Chicago, IL was born on New Year's Eve December 31st, 1988. His First Leaked Single “I Like Dat” was Produced by Epik, received rave reviews from underground critics, and earned him a spot on Chicago’s own DJ Sean Mac’s Mixtape. Youngsta followed up this hit with previews of a forthcoming Mixtape entitled “High Off The Life”. He earned mainstream recognition by Opening for V.I.C – Mr. Get Silly (Warner Bros. Records) and BenOne (Universal Records) in 2008. In February 2009, he opened for Kanye West's new artist Big Sean (Good Music). In September 2009, he did opening performances for Dorrough - "Ice Cream Paint Job". Since then Youngsta has enjoyed much local success on radio stations WGCI and Power 92.3, College Radio UIUC 107.9, tv. networks such as CANTV, as well as college home-coming performances including SIU, NIU, and ISU. Most recently he has performed in Washington D.C at The George Washington University, at Howard University with the COOL Kids and at the UIC Pavillion opening up for 50 Cent. Currently, his single “Where They Do Dat At” has won him plays at several major clubs in Chicago, has been posted on the latest hip hop blogs (ondatnoise.com & talkchicago), and is receiving raving reviews by D.J’s everywhere. Model Rosa Acosta hosted Youngsta’s 21st Birthday Party on New Year's Day at Subterranean. Clearly, Youngsta is on the road to success.
