Artist Young Twaun was born and raised in the violent streets of Detroit, MI, he was born on December 15, 1991. Twaun started writing music at about 8 years old in the first grade over time he grew dramatically as a writer. He was raised in poverty and the streets of the murder capital, Twaun has a very big family with 9 brothers and 5 sisters total between both his parents. Growing up he has had all kinds of different musical influences;  Studying music history in different genre's such as hip-hop, pop, r&b, oldies, country, 90s rap & more. Young Twaun is most known for his unorthodox style, word play, delivery, energy, & voice. He talks about how hard it was growing up in Detroit and living in the situation of poverty never having much but still having faith knowing that anything is possible. This kid can simply make you feel his pain, and at the same time move a club with his melodic harmonies. He also have no problem telling his crowd that he is spiritual and god-fearing, especially with his track called "Amen" that simply tells a lot about him, Young Twaun has had success in different areas of his career. He has opened up for mainstream artists such as Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Wale, Too Short, Verse Simmonds, Young Dro & more. He has also been on a couple tours such as "The Hype Killz" Tour, which was put together by his friend/independent artist "Imran", they toured a few cities in Southern California such as Los Angeles, Chino Hills, Pomona, La Puente, Norco, and Rowland Heights. He also was on a tour with Ms. Arlinda Garrett. Hitting the cities Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL, Huntington, AL, and Columbus, GA, Chattanooga, TN (which included industry artists like Cupid, Lyfe Jennings, Adrian Marcel, Young Dro, and J. Peguero ).  His music has aired on several radio stations thru scattered regions such as Detroit, Lansing, Huntington, Birmingham, Columbus, Houston, Chattanooga, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, and Flint. These stations vary from Channel One stations to internet radio, Young Twaun is still an independent artist still pushing to make his mark in the league of great musicians and seeking to tell the world his story. He has also expanded the vision of his company "The Work" and released a clothing line called "The WORK Apparel". This young  ambitious artist is looking to set his mark and also has many more great things to come. Young Twaun says that he sees himself touring the world telling his story to all his fans and also share with them that they can make a difference too, and that their dreams could also come true if they believe in themselves and manifest their own truths.
