Cosmic Hearts is an experimental album about a young black adolescent who changes and becomes less innocent throughout the years. It starts off from tracks from when he was younger, rapping about "drip" and riches as well as refraining from drugs. As Vaxsz gets older the things he raps about changes, now involving a lot more references to women and drug use. The trigger element of this switch is "Crazy (Interlude)" where Vaxsz speaks metaphorically on his mental health. During this second part of the album, Vaxsz speaks on various women inspired by his emotions; infatuation and bitterness. The album ends off with "Deserve It" in bitterness, showcasing the change of Vaxsz throughout the years.
