His Holiness Younus AlGohar explains the main reason one practises a religion and why pure spirituality is what we need today.

Main points:

- The knowledge that comes from God is true knowledge, but when knowledge about God is coming through a religion, it is censored. Different religions were all sent by God, but they have different perspectives of God.

- Christianity’s image of God is painted with the colour of love. They don’t talk about hellfire, they talk about hope. They say that if you believe in Lord Jesus, all your sins are gone. Muslims on the other hand are scared of God. A Muslim doesn’t talk about God’s love. Either he talks about torment of the grave, burning in hell or virgins of paradise. 

- True knowledge about God will come from somebody who has seen God, who is able to talk with God. God speaks to him and he speaks to God. Then in that friendship, God will reveal the ultimate truth upon him.

- Does God love everybody? If he loved everyone, then why are some people suffering so much in this world? If God loved everybody, they would be good. God’s love would change a human being; one who God loves cannot remain to have hatred. God created human beings for different purposes. Some of the human beings are destined to burn in hellfire and this is because God wants it that way. 

- Since spirituality became absent int these religions they became a problem. If you have God’s love, you are better than those who have a religion but still they don’t love God. The problem with religions is that anyone can join them, regardless of whether they are hell-bound, heaven-bound or predestined loving souls. When bad people joined religion, issues arose within the religion

What is the difference between the worship of Adam and the worship of the Devil? 

Adam Safi Allah's worship consisted of a mixture of exoteric (physical) knowledge and esoteric (spiritual) knowledge. He would make mention of God's name with his tongue and at the same time, his heart would engage in the remembrance of God. Whereas, the Devil only engaged in physical worship. Everything was just verbal. And this is the same case with the clerics of today.

The reality of visualisation in Spirituality: Can one become a servant of Prophet Mohammad and a friend of God through visualisation? A viewer's question answered by Sayedi Younus AlGohar. 

Main Points: 

- You may visualise anything, there is no reality to it. If you imagine that you are a pilot, it doesn’t make you a pilot. Being a servant of Prophet Mohammad; first, you need to understand what is meant by being a servant. A servant is one who obeys every single command of the Spiritual Guide; one who does not do anything from his own desire. 

- We try to follow the customs of Prophet Mohammad but the comforts of our body and the desires of the Carnal Self become the biggest hurdle in the way.  A true servant of Prophet Mohammad is one who purifies his Carnal Self and Prophet Mohammad takes the Carnal Self in his servitude, showers his merciful glance upon it and transforms the desires of the Carnal Self to fall in accordance with him. 

- You cannot become a friend of God just by visualisation. There are to main aspects: You must be able to converse with God, at least. Secondly, you must be able to see God. According to Hadith-e-Jibreel: make the quality and standard of your worship as such that you are able to see God, and if you are incapable of doing this then make yourself worthy of being seen by God.

- Koran: God does not look at your bodies, rather he looks at your hearts and the intentions therein. Therefore, you must polish your heart with the Light of God so that it falls under the sight of God. This is the way of becoming a friend of God.

'If someone is under the effect of black magic and they commit sins, who is the culprit? The one who casted black magic or the one under the influence?' - Answered by Sayedi Younus AlGohar 

Main points: 

- Black magic is not casted to make people commit sins, rather it is for death. If someone casts magic on a person and they begin committing sins, the thing to understand is people commit sins without being under the effect of magic. Magic is not the reason for being sinful, you were not pious before magic was casted on you. 

- One who casts magic has nothing to do with Islam. Prophetic Traditions narrate: Those who cast magic deny the Oneness of God. However, they will not be the ones to blame, if you sin then you are responsible for it. 

- If you are a true follower of Prophet Mohammad then why do you not have the antidote to magic? You talk about the Koran and Prophetic Traditions all day but you don't have the knowledge to nullify the effects of magic? 

- If you are vulnerable to the effects of magic then you are at fault. For example, if you leave the door of your house unlocked and you are a victim of burglary then common sense says you are to blame. 

- One who possesses Divine Light cannot be affected by magic even if it is casted on them. The Divine Light in their heart nullifies the effects of black magic. It is a clear indication that the Koran has not entered your heart because you become possessed by the Jinns.

- It is said that a Hafiz possesses the Koran in their hearts but even then we have seen many Hafiz who become fraudsters and adulterers. The Koran is not in their hearts, rather, they memorised the Koran by cramming.

- People limit humility and modesty to phraseology. Verbally displaying how humble and modest you are does not make you so. Without the knowledge of Spirituality, all modesty and humility is nothing but an act of showing off.

- The Koran says: All good deeds are by virtue of God's grace and all bad deeds are done because of the influence of the Carnal Self. Therefore, you are incapable of doing anything good. If you do something good, it is because of God’s grace. To understand this is humility and when you realise that none of your good deeds come through your own efforts, then any good deed committed by you is free from false pride and boast. This is the fundamental law.

- The Carnal Self within human beings pushes one to commit bad deeds, and until it has control over the entire body, you will not be granted the ability to do good deeds from God. You must find a Spiritual Guide who can present your Spiritual Heart in the court of God; it shall come under the grace of God and it is granted the name and light of God, and then through the enlightened heart, the Divine Light travels to every nook and cranny of the body and overrides the control of the Carnal Self and your body is then in accordance with God.

- There are three different kinds of people in the world: Dunyadar, Taraq ul Dunya and Farigh ul Dunya. The entire humanity is divided in these three categories. 

- One whom God has categorised as Dunyadar (materialistic) is Dunyadar whether they are rich or poor. No matter how pious you may  be, if your heart is not enlightened, you are materialistic in God's eyes. When one becomes an Enlightened Heart, the label of 'materialistic' is taken off and one becomes Tariq ul Dunya (they have shunned materialism) even while living in the phenomenal world. 

- A Tariq ul Dunya is one whose heart no longer desires materialism and God and his love enter their heart. Such a person is not bothered whether or not they have a luxurious life. Desiring materialism does not mean one wishes to dress well and live well, rather it's about chasing after materialism and shunning God. 

- A Prophetic Tradition states: Love for the world is destruction - however, this is only when the desire for the world is in the heart. 

- The third category is Farigh ul Dunya of which there are two types: those who have been appointed on duty for the guidance of humanity by God. God takes the responsibility for their provisions and livelihood. And those who make the jungle their abode and do not wish to be appointed amongst human beings who reek of their sinful acts. They would rather stay in the jungles amongst the sin-free animals.

Dunyadar Kon Hai? | By Younus AlGohar

Sayyidi Younus AlGohar explains how Allah makes one a Friend (Wali) of Allah (swt).

- There is a large group of Muslims who become enraged as soon as the names of saints are mentioned. And they place fatwas of innovations and Shirk and infidelity upon you themselves just because you said you love a certain saint and you respect the saints of God. The interesting thing is that God has mentioned his friendship in the Koran in lengthy details. 

- The philosophy of the Koran tells us that there are two types of saints: Divine Saints and Satanic Saints. Why are they called saints? Saint means friend and a friend is one who is close to you. If you are close to God, you are a saint of God and if you are close to the Devil, you are a saint of the Devil. 

- If you ask a scholar how you can become a saint of God, they will first laugh at you and then lecture you about offering Salat fives times a day. Whereas, His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi simplified Spirituality, it is as easy as 2+2=4. 

- The secret to God's friendship begins with Opening of the Spiritual Heart. This is the first step and after that one is able to converse with God, however, that is the lowest level of sainthood. True sainthood begins with Seeing God. When a person sees God, they are showered with God's theophanies which burns away the past, present and future sins.

Wali Allah Kesay Bantay Hain?

The explanation of Bayt (Pledge of Allegiance) by Sayyidi Younus AlGohar. 

Main points: 

- Bayt is a promise or commitment between a disciple and Spiritual Guide, just as a business deal and a marriage is a contract. Bayt is the contract of coming into the servitude of a Spiritual Guide. The Spiritual Guide will connect the disciple to God and in return the disciple must stay obedient to the Spiritual Guide. The Spiritual Guide can take any form of service, whether it is physical or otherwise. 

- The Spiritual Guide has some rights over the disciple and vice versa. [In Bayt] a disciple must be completely obedient and submissive to the will of the Spiritual Guide. One who does not have a Spiritual Guide must be obedient to God and the Prophet, however, one who does have a Spiritual Guide can only be obedient to the Spiritual Guide after the contract. 

- Some Spiritual Guides are greater in rank than the Kaaba and their disciples are not required to go to Mecca to perform Hajj, they can circumambulate around their Spiritual Guide. Some Spiritual Guides are greater in rank than the Bait ul Mamour (The Original Worship place) whereas some are greater in rank than the Throne of God. 

- People who are doing Bayt nowadays are unaware of its reality, they do it simply because they have heard about it from their elders. The disciples don't know why they are doing Bayt but their so-called Spiritual Guides are doing it to warm their pockets; the more disciples they have the more donations they receive.

The religion of Islam is complete: Why must we await Imam Mehdi (as)? What will Imam Mehdi bring which is not already available? Sayedi Younus AlGohar's detailed lecture on the rank and duty of Imam Mehdi (as). 

Main points: 

- All those who say Imam Mehdi is a prophet are infidels. Prophet Mohammad (saw) declared that there is no prophet after him. Prophet Mohammad is the one who told us about the Awaited Imam Mehdi so those who adulterate the statement of Prophet Mohammad are rejectors of the Finality of the Prophet and the Koran. 

- Imam Mehdi (as) will neither be a prophet nor a saint because prophethood, messenger-hood and sainthood has been terminated. Imam Mehdi will be God’s Caliph and a Sufi. This is what is written in the prophetic Traditions: When Gabriel comes and announces the arrival of Imam Mehdi, he will say 'This is the personality sent to you by God and He is the Caliph of God.’

- The nation's distance from the religion is the biggest reason for infidelity and polytheism. Those who have become involved in innovations in the religion and polytheism it is a result of the scarcity of the most important knowledge of the religion.  When you have the Koran and the Prophetic Traditions already then the Muslims should think what Imam Mehdi will do? 

- What is that special truth which has not arrived yet? We have the Koran, the religion is complete so why do we need Imam Mehdi now? The religion is complete. We know how to offer Salat and perform the pilgrimage of Hajj yet God is going to send Imam Mehdi. It simply means there is something that we do not possess which we will acquire from God through Imam Mehdi. 

- People pray day and night but their prayers are not being answered. If the prayers are not being answered what is the guarantee that their worship is reaching God? The reason for this is that the hearts are void of God and inhabited by the Devil. Imam Mehdi is coming to root out the Devil and plant God in your hearts. Imam Mehdi has the monopoly of connecting people to God because nobody else has this authority. Nobody else has this power, so if somebody connects your heart to God, obviously, directly or indirectly, this power is coming to your heart from Imam Mehdi (as).

The Types of Sainthood: Sayyidi Younus AlGohar's explanation of the most important type of sainthood in the eyes of God. Find out how you can become a saint of God today!

Main points: 

- Sainthood is of two types, lower grade and higher grade. In the lower grade of sainthood, you are able to converse with God. This conversation is not verbal as this is not the method of speaking with God. Your body was created by the angels whereas your soul was created by God, therefore, he is familiar with the souls not the body. You must enlighten the souls so that God's word is revealed upon them. 

- The knowledge of seeing God was revealed along with the arrival of Prophet Mohammad. Seeing God is the higher grade of sainthood and this is mentioned in the Prophetic Traditions. The first knowledge purifies the body and the Carnal Self, and the second knowledge begins with the Spiritual Heart and it will take your Subtlety of Ana to see God. However, it has nothing to do with Islam, it is a knowledge which is part of Prophet Mohammad's being not the religion he established. 

- After obtaining the higher grade of sainthood you come under the theophanies of God 360 times a day; you are no longer required to worship in order to generate Divine Energy as a single theophany of God has more Divine Energy  than a lifetime of worship. 

- The following stage is Divine Union and this is the point when God becomes closer to you than your own jugular vein. This is obtained after Seeing God through the Subtlety of Ana. After that comes the Rapturous Love of God in which God becomes the love, the lover and the beloved, ie one who is granted the rank of Rapturous Love literally becomes God. One of God's esoteric presence enters you and settles within you.

- One who has obtained Opening of the Spiritual Heart must regularly sit in the circle of Dhikr for three consecutive years. If the Spiritual Heart is not supplied with Divine Energy in the early stages, it is possible that the Dhikr may be terminated. 

- After three years, the Spiritual Heart becomes spiritually nurtured enough to be self-sufficient as it will generate Divine Energy without needing help. 

- After the span of three years, God shall determine the number of times the heart will repeat the name of God in one day. No matter what time of the day, it is the heart's duty to complete the designated quota.

What is the reason that Sufis would refrain from getting married when marriage is a custom of Prophet Mohammad? 

Main points: 

- There are many ranks among the Sufis. There are many Sufis who did not marry and there are many who married, had children and had their own businesses. Not all Sufis were the same. If a Sufi decided to remain celibate for the rest of his life, it is not a sin. 

- Marriage is a custom of Prophet Mohammad, however, if you do not get married because you do not want to be distracted from the path of God then it is not a sin. Prophet Mohammad did not say you will lose your faith if you do not marry. 

- If one person follows the custom of marriage but remains entangled in worldly matters and another person remains celibate and obtains faith then who is better off? There were many Sufis who obtained culmination of Spirituality, they obtained Divine Union and then they decided to get married and have children. 

- Marriage is not the greatest custom of Prophet Mohammad. The greatest custom is to obtain God. Most Muslims only adopt the customs which they find enjoyable because they want to indulge in luxuries. Marriage is for those who desire to keep a companion and those who enjoy solitude should remain celibate. The Prophetic Tradition narrates that the celibate are better. 

- There are some customs of the Prophet Mohammad without which you cannot become an Enlightened Believer (Momin) and some customs are suitable to adopt only after you have become an Enlightened Believer.
