Message from Robbie: A year or so ago, I spent the night with a friend.
We shared a few stories over MANY drinks.
Around 3am he left the room, and came back a few minutes later with this book, about the size of an old thesaurus you'd have in your old classroom in primary school.
This book was kind of like a diary I guess, but more like a shrine of his ex girlfriend, who left him for someone else.
We'd talked a lot about past relationships and situations so this wasn't as 'out of the blue' as it sounds.

A few of the words/quotes I found in it, I have used in this song as they really resonated with me, and put how I felt into simpler words than I could find.

I don't know where he is now, I haven't seen him since that night.
He seems to have gone on. Moved on, maybe.

I still have the book.
