OMG! Whole EP is absolutely awesome, vinyl ordered just now! Very modern, very futuristic sound, nice using all these short vocal parts, perfect rhythm changes, I´ll be play all tunes from this trilogy. Poland is another deep house country, thanks for it... Big Up! & cheeers from Prague!

The last two Munk releases (on Correspondant and Local Talk) already showed the new side of Mathias Modica's musical output.
Instrumental, hypnotic, yet funky and tribal mid tempo tracks with almost no vocals. 
Now Mr. Munk takes it a few steps further. He is flying his Techno into a Sun Ra Space. „The Bolero Bunuel“ is based on a jazzfunk bassline and some live drumming. The melodies remind of some strange arabian sci-fi things. „The Naked Baam“ reminds of the first Motorbass tracks, back from Paris 1995. Filterfunk! „The Oboe Onyx“ - Boards of Canada could have been somewhere in the studio when this was made. The beat is weird... not quantized. The classical instruments and melodic lines remind of some compositions of late Ligeti or P‰rt. This new Munk EP comes out with Remixes from LAUER and RED AXES.

Nuestra sesión de hoy viene de la mano de Sebb Junior, un productor y DJ Francés de música House. Actualmente con residencia España, es el fundador del sello La Vie d'Artiste Music y residente como DJ de Beachgrooves Radio en Marbella.

Trabajando en la música desde principios de los 90, con raíces en la cultura hip hop, Sebb ha estado produciendo tracks para la escena House desde 2015, editando en sellos legendarios como Salted music, Large Music, Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse Records, DJ Spen’s Quantize Records, Papa Records y tracks para recopilaciones de Hed Kandi, Toolroom o Milk & Sugar Recordings.

En 2017, después de lanzar más de 200 canciones en solo 2 años, Sebb decidió abrir la puerta de su estudio para todos y lanzó su primer paquete de samplers, que alcanzó el puesto número uno en Beatport Sounds Deep House. También lanzó ese mismo año su álbum debut «Rewind» en Papa Records, y fue nombrado segundo mejor artista de Deep House de 2017 en Traxsource, al obtener unas asombrosas 9 pistas en las ventas de Deep House en el Top 200.

Este año, Sebb, ha sentido la necesidad de obtener más independencia y autonomía, por lo que lanzó su nuevo vinilo y sello digital La Vie d'Artiste Music, principalmente para sus propios proyectos y algunos amigos artistas cercanos.

Your Mama's Friend is back again to tempt us with the forbidden fruit of sleazy beats and warm rounded baselines. To date its been a fully Polish affair, with Viadrina and Chmara Winter joining label boss Marcin Czubala in providing the goods. Today its another debutant, but this time we're leaving the label's homeland as we head to the UK to meet a star on the rise, Resketch. 

Ste Burnett's diverse musical range in both his DJ sets and productions, find him falling somewhere within the swampy bass realm of house, garage and disco. His own productions have been described as having a unique and infectious energy thats driven by a bouncing sub-bass. A perfect fit for Your Mama's Friend wouldn't you say? 

The No District label chief delivers a trio of treats in the form of his "Bound In Binary" ep. Layers of smooth, warm and weighty bass are teased, prodded and pierced by twinkling keys, diva vocals stabs and clear, precise percussion. Quite a debut from this exciting young producer. Watch this space!
