Your Name is a dj and label owner from Croatia.
His formative years were spent in Pula, a small town on the coast of Istria.
The music videos of the early nineties and a progressive local radio station played a key role in linking him to the culture that would later express his creativity - hip hop.

He spent his teenage years shaping his skills in graffiti drawing, break dancing and dj'ing in his father's garage where he and his friends assembled their first sound system and light show with whatever they could find at the local flea market.

When he moved to Zagreb to attain a degree, it was house music that caught his ear. He soon realised that both house and hip hop are connected to same roots - the black, soulful and groovy sound of the 70' and 80'.

After a few years of digging and mixing he was recognized by Zagreb's finest crews (Ekstrakt and Confusion) and was invited to play at their parties.
Later on, he and a few close friends formed „Legalize Lambada“ , a dj collective that evolved into a vinyl label that revisits forgotten disco jams and saves them from the claws of speculators.

His sets are always a fusion of various styles; from down tempo, gospel  and psychedelic soul to boogie, disco, house and techno.


LEGALIZE LAMBADA BIOGRAPHY:

The wild boar society was always  known as a warrior society. 

At age 7, young boars entered a rigorous state-sponsored military training and socialization program that emphasized duty, discipline and endurance.

For centuries, wild boars have been denied of the right to gather freely or fall in love.

The military based rituals were designated to reinforce twisted ethical principles in the minds of the followers and were the only social interaction allowed.

A group of young infidels stopped fighting 
the urge that boars fought for centuries. 
They deserted military drills, grew their hair and created their own new ritual called Lambada.

This spiritual journey awoke the suppressed spirit of the wild boar and revealed the sincerely beautiful nature of this noble animal.

Sadly, Lambada soon became known as the forbidden dance and all it's partakers were persecuted.

To this day, Lambada remains an underground ritual.
