To celebrate the anniversary of 2500 days since my mystery bassist (Shergar’s) first gig playing bass with me. This is a shit phone recording of a gig and was captured during a loud conversation between some bald blokes (sorry about them throughout). However I’ve uploaded for prosperity and all that. 

The gig took play at the Conchie in Ashington, Northumberland.

A version of My Contagious Smile I recorded at Uncle Andy's house about 15 years ago while he was lording around in the United States of all places. Anyway I was just reminded about this version and managed to find it. It's rough but I like the keys and you get the picture of what I might have done with vocals if I'd recorded it properly around the same time but I didn't. 

I don't play this much these days as it needs the bass for it to work and my bassist is running a knocking shop or something or other in sunny Ashington, but when he's free again one day, maybe I'll grace someone or other with a live version of this again!

this trail of streaming make-up from eyes of unique mannequins slowly pushed our friend along
and love notes written in blood trying to slowly mould a robot spiralled up to dark where flames took them.

This is an unfinished version of Misogynistic Stamping without main guitars, or bass. The vocal track is just a ghost track and will all be re-recorded in the final version. I thought it would be nice to share some of the piano which will be partially lost in the final mix HEAR IT!

I know this song obviously but I don't know it well and that might come through in the recording. I just recorded this using the iphone voice memo app, a Simon and Patrick Woodland Parlor and my voice...

I'm just posting this for the crack more than anything, it's not great, complete or anything I'm taking any further but I was fannying around with some new recording software and just did a sketch recording of a cover of Maximo Park's Limassol. Vocals were recorded by a shit onboard mic acoustic and bass were DI.

Are you proud of your campaign, did it go well for you, did you drum up much party support? People can’t be that stupid, i’ll bitch about you with a friendly does of moral support. 

It’s a shame for your comrades, you mortify them at every twist and turn. You’re a braying bastard, will you ever learn?
