About Jasper...
Jasper  Laubscher, just a run of the mill South African Boy who managed to make his way to London by infiltrating the returning Women’s Equestrian team, following Beijing 2008.
Upon arrival, Jasper immediately set about being trodden on by the ruthless mainstream music industry. Such a frosty reception, following the extended stay in a horse box, with a jumping stallion and a diet consisting entirely of chaff, would have deterred most aspiring Music producers.
8 years on however, following a several flirtations with success and a stint posing as a 'music journalist' as YHM's in house blogger, having developed a healthy ‘black book’ of affiliates, Jasper has weaved a musical ‘spider’s web’ across London and the surrounding boroughs.
Widely respected for production exploits amongst his peers, Jasper employs anonymity within the public domain. Inspired by his hero, who, not coincidently often wears a mask and swings around the city; Peter Stringfellow - Jasper has created quite a mystique during his short time in the Capital.
Equipped with the pre-requisite skills to literally, pay the bills – Jasper spends any extra curriculum time out of the studio, in and around the vibrant taste making clubs of the city.
His willingness to experiment and penchant for value fried chicken dispensaries are second only to his rank mediocre ambition to succeed.
 
About the track...
‘Feel Good’ is the debut single from Jasper Laubscher; the self-proclaimed. ‘Feels Good’ quintessentially does what it says on the tin - Evocative of days spent in sunshine and nights under a haze of light filters and smoke, the tune personifies Summer and all the positivity that comes with it. If you were to design the perfect soundscape for your life, from May to September, this would probably be similar.
Shoulder pumping from the very onset of the groove, movement is compulsive. The chorus hits home like double dropping pouches of Capri-Sun, promptly transporting the listener to the upper echelons of euphoria (effects may vary).
Identifying with the recent wave of mellowed-out ‘Beach House’ music, fully expect to encounter ‘Feel Good’ via all mediums, ranging from the Ibizan club scene to Isle of Wight Radio.
Trendy yet with commercial appeal and an addictive nature, If big hitting Jasper’s first dose is a statement of intent then…..yeh.

‘Listen‘ is the trend propelling-sequel to blogger turned beat-maker, Jasper Laubscher's Spring 2016 debut ‘Feel Good’. 
Reminiscent of the late 90’s Groove Dance rage; flag shipped by Armand Van Helden's wobbler, ‘You Don’t Know Me’- ‘Listen’ will likely make those of us whose teenage years coincided with this wonderful time to be alive, nostalgic toward roller blades, Nokia 6110's, Prove It cards, hanging out in carparks and nights misspent at travelling fun fairs.
Electrically charged from the early insertion of the robust Bass line / Kick beat combo, the pretentious character and sexual virility of Laubscher is immediately obvious.
It is recommended that the listener enjoys whilst pacing with intent, preferably down a crowded high street location and sporting novelty over-sized headphones. Also, it's extremely well-paired with white fish.
The annoyingly catchy appeal of the chorus is the musical equivalent to a Miniature Schnauzer with lockjaw. Every atom in your body urges you to physically express yourself, but you’re reluctant to come off like a dick.
Imagine the infamous Napoleon Dynamite dance, but ten-fold  more erotic and then half way through the routine, David Brent enters and all of a sudden you have the Mother of all dance-offs on your hands –Yeh, well this would be the music they would play to that.
