The first single, lostfound, from leland, the forthcoming debut LP by Francis Harris is available now on limited edition vinyl from NYC label Scissor and Thread. leland is a highly personal work for Harris who composed the album as a requiem for his father, for whom it is titled. This first peek at the project features the album version of lostfound, a contemplative, atmospheric pop song cast in a deep house framework. Norwegian singer Gry turns in an outstanding vocal performance that cuts straight to the emotional core of the material while subtle improvisational trumpet accents by Greg Paulus of No Regular Play propel the narrative.

About "Love"

If you say you love music by heart you’ll never be limited to one genre. We picture our tracks not only on dusty dance floors but also in your headphones when you’re driving home from work. We imagine you are sitting with your beloved ones next to a river and having a great time while your favourite music is played via a Bluetooth speaker. 
Depending on the situation, you may prefer a different kind of music genre. Our latest track “LOVE” is collaboration with the canadian country singer Colleen Brown, whose voice enchanted us right off. See we don’t want to determine our music to the genre of Deep House or Electronica but we do want to produce across genres, to explore our limitations. Our main goal is to slip music out of a machine into human skin. Colleen Brown breathes life into this tune when she sings about what it feels like to be in love.  

Furthermore, the track “LOVE” is for free. It has to be for free hence “LOVE FOR SALE” is wrong. Those who try to make money with this delicate emotion are motherfuckers. We just can’t support that.

Sabo welcomes Australian brothers Brent and Scott Miramz aka Thankyou City to his label Sol Selectas.

Thankyou City is a regular feature at many of the events and club nights in their home country. The pair are also accomplished producers whose sound is full of warmth, utilizing analog gear and dusty vinyl samples.

Some might recognize their track from Uone’s recent mix compilation in the Balance series, but most will be more familiar with their contributions to imprints such as Open Records, onedotsixtwo, and Sprout.

Third on the release is the original mix of “Resend” and its ethereal flute samples laid amongst a nest of luscious and silky sounds. Atmospheric and chilled out with a laid-back groove, the percussion ensures it remains club friendly and the epic synths add drama to its otherwise soothing aesthetic.

'Freaky Chakra returns to Monday Social Music with the second in a series of studio collabs with label boss Freddy Be. This time round the boys deliver a hypnotic, deep tech, groover featuring an array of remixes from highly respected producers Markus Homm, Jamie Stevens, and Arnas D.

First on deck, Australian producer Jamie Stevens rolls out an illustrious tribute to the late, great, Phil K with the "Love for Phil K Remix".A unique blend of emotional electronica and atmospheric breaks that effortlessly captures the spirit, depths, and style that Phil K was so well known for.

Next, we welcome Romanian born House producer Markus Homm who has made a name for himself over the years with noteworthy releases and production collabs with the likes of Gorge (8BiT) and Mihai Popovitciu (Cyclic). Markus Homm's crisp, propulsive grooves have always had one clear mission in mind, to get people on the dance floor which is precisely what he accomplished here with his Late Morning Dub.
