 Behind Miike Snow stands the producer team Bloodshy &amp; Avant (who previously produced tracks for Madonna, Britney Spears and Kylie Minogue to name a few) and the singer Andrew Wyatt. The band formed in 2007 and released the self entitled album Miike Snow in 2009 and since then its been a clear success with the band touring massively all over the world. 

Fantastic support by the international DJ-community such as Tiësto, David Guetta, Axwell, Pete Tong Sebastian Ingrosso, Armin Van Buuren, Steve Angello, Dirty South etc. and also played and featured in the radio shows of Pete Tong, Tiësto and many more.

With its pumping bassline, beautiful melodies and big break the remix is a true anthem of the winter and spring 2010!

The newly crowned number one DJ in the world lets loose his second longplayer
on the number one label in the world (Resident Advisor 2011). Prepare to delve
deep as Jamie Jones brings us ‘Tracks From The Crypt’ on Crosstown Rebels.

Jamie Jones rise to the top has been a steady climb. The young Welshman was
always respected from fellow peers and artists through early releases on Freak
n’Chic, Cocoon, Get Physical and a debut artist album on Crosstown Rebels,
but now is deeply admired as the best in the game.

In ‘Tracks From The Crypt’ Jamie finally sets some of the best-loved dancefloor
bombs of the past five years loose from the vaults of his infamous studio. Tracks
such as the bouncing infectious grooves of ‘Somewhere’, ‘Paradise’ and
‘Frequencies’ are infamous from Jamie’s live recordings, and others such as the
electro-clash influenced ‘City At Night’, ‘Mari 2d Underground’ a future
dancefloor anthem and ‘Tonight In Tokyo’ featuring Luca C are as yet unheard
and offer a glimpse of the future. Closing with the leisurely pace of ‘The Lows’,
Jamie shows he can stretch the capabilities of house music and has formulated
his own new breed.

Jamie explains: "This is a collection of my favourite unreleased secret weapons
from the last 5 years plus some brand new tunes that I'm hammering on the
dancefloor right now. Looking back in the vaults, I found some killers that people
have been trying to get their hands on for ages and decided to make my
second album a combination of these."

The past few years have seen Jamie launch his own pioneering label and
brand, Hot Creations and production outfit Hot Natured, forging his own path
with a highly original sound as both a solo artist, and with various collaborations.
His remixes of Azari III and Green Velvet were among the biggest tracks of 2011
and he has the rare ability to appeal to many diverse styles of electronic music,
championed by Pete Tong, Annie Mac as well as Gilles Peterson.

Named Best Deep House DJ and remix of 2011 in DJ Awards Ibiza, Best DJ and
remix by DJ Mag UK and Best DJ from Mixmag UK as well as Resident Advisor No
1 DJ of the year, Jamie Jones and his label Hot Creations are amongst the
biggest names in dance music right now. Imitated the world over they got there
by infusing a new originality into a tiring style of dance music - injecting energy
through basslines and spirit through vocals and samples.

Single from the 'Subfocus' LP. A fair number of people are still unaware that I provided the vocals for this tune, and granted, it's not immediately obvious. We slowed down the whole track, I sung my parts then the vocals were pitched up by the same amount; the idea was to get that old-skool/hardcore acapella feel to the vocals.

Having kicked off 2013 with Russian duo Hard Rock Sofa’s remix of the anthemic ‘Years’ by Alesso, Refune’s first brand new music of the year comes courtesy of Deniz Koyu who is returning to Sebastian Ingrosso’s label with the follow-up to last year’s festival favourite ‘Bong’. 

Anticipation for new single ‘Rage’ has been building since last year, with Swedish House Mafia supporting the track during their ‘One Last Tour’ performances, and is destined to be another future anthem from Koyu. Bringing his trademark energy and precision in abundance, ‘Rage’ is a dynamic peak time production. True to its name, a feverish build up unfurls in a burst of pounding drums and heavyweight synth riffs, which spiral upwards through the track to keep energy levels high throughout.

2012 was Koyu’s biggest year yet as he has continues to rise through the ranks of dance music on a wave of high quality releases and high-energy performances. Coming off the back of the Generation Wild Tour, the new single is a confident statement of intent for the new year and the first taste of a lot more to come on Refune Records.
