Italian tech house titan Davide Squillace makes his full Moon Harbour debut with a fantastic new single that follows a number of remixes on the label over the years. 

This And That label boss and Circoloco hero Squillace has been a core part of the global house underground for many years. His sets are legendary, his productions never fail to make their mark and his friendship with Moon Harbour boss Matthias Tanzmann goes back decades and includes them working together with Martin Buttrich as part of the Better Lost Than Stupid supergroup. 

Squillace shows his skills once more on 'Smart Dance Stupid Floor,' a high intensity track that keeps on building. The crisp drum programming is turbocharged and constantly evolving. It is overlaid with sweeping filters, textured hits and twisted vocal loops that all add up to a fiery and unrelenting groove for the peak of the night.

With TRAIN TO BALTIMORERemix (Minus 2010) Paco Osuna culminates a series of four free tracks forming part of a celebration a tremendous career spanning two decades. 

TRAIN TO BALTIMORE Remix, included on Down EP, is a production launched in September of 2010 and comes from Ambivalent´s original track. It is the second version produced by Paco on that label. 

“This is not the first I remix I did on Minus, it is the second; the first was also for Ambivalent´s RU OK, launched in 2007. To me, Train to Baltimore Remix is particularly special because Kevin (Ambivalent) is an excellent friend of mine. I love and respect him. I really like his music. That year he gave me the promos, I really liked the original and wanted to remix it, so much that originally I was going to release it on my label but Richie thought they were excellent cuts, both the original and the remix, and asked for them for Minus.” Paco Osuna

With the gift of this track, Paco Osuna celebrates 20 years of his own musical story and also appreciates the support of all those who have been there with him from the very beginning, the ones that are still there today and those who have joined along the way. The release of this LP is another significant step in Paco Osuna´s LONG PLAY career; a reflection of years of effort, dedication and passion for his profession.

Dando inicio a una semana de emociones sonoras, LONG PLAY ha sido lanzado este 6 de octubre exclusivamente en Minus y en Beatport; lo que ha conformado  un repertorio de hitos musicales y que al mismo tiempo que acentúa la excelente mancuerna que Paco Osuna y Minus han formado a través de los años. Así, con Train to Baltimore Remix (Minus 2010) Paco Osuna culmina la serie de cuatro tracks de regalo y que ha tenido como motivo de la celebración de dos tremendas décadas de carrera artística. 

Train to Baltimore Remix, incluido en Down EP, es una producción lanzada en Septiembre de 2010, deviene del track original de Ambivalent y representa la segunda versión producida por Paco para ese sello.

“Este no es el primer remix que hice en Minus, es el segundo, el primero fue al track R U OK de Ambivalent lanzado en 2007. Ese año él me pasó los promos, me gustó mucho el original y deseaba remezclarlo, de tal forma que originalmente lo iba a sacar en mi sello pero a Richie le parecieron excelentes cortes, tanto el original como el remix, y los pidió para Minus.”

Con este track de regalo Paco Osuna festeja sus 20 años de historia musical y agradece al mismo tiempo el apoyo de todas aquellas personas que han estado con él desde el inicio, que siguen hasta ahora y que se han sumado en el camino. While being astutely present Let Go is Yousef's own tribute to his early years as a DJ and producer, a throwback to his Chicago influence. As the vocal proceeds and controls the track, a looping bass hook and gnarly rhythm refuse to relent. The track rides on through a gentler, more musically delicate zone before the necessary crescendo demands that the listener adheres to the title…   


In his 3rd artist album, Yousef elegantly marries an ongoing desire to labour dance floors with an unquenchable thirst to exhibit the range of musical influences he’s developed in a 15-year career as a Dj and producer. 

Sticking with the 4/4 beat on this project, Yousef skilfully weaves through a variety of sophisticated electronic music. Sultry vocals sit next to Chicago rhythms, elevating moments couple up with cinematic techno, all relentlessly pulsating to the heart beat of authentic house. In The Process of Eight is an undertaking accomplished by someone who has dedicated their working life to the spirit of house music.

Produced, arranged and mixed by Yousef, the project invites a talented multitude of seasoned, fresh and even unknown artists, singers and beat makers to join him. Collaborations come from, Uner, Reboot, Bontan and the legendary Blakkat, with vocals from The Angel, soon to be discovered LA based jazz songstress Erica Thomson and Crosstown Rebels frequenter Kieran Fowkes, who appears on the first single taken from the album “Let Go”.


In The Process of Eight also includes two of Yousef’s iconic tracks “Come Home” and “Float Away”, amalgamating them along side his brand new compositions creating the producers most accomplished body of work to date.

Three singles from the album are penned for release in quick succession by mid summer 2015, followed by further music released on other world-class labels, Ellen Aliens ‘Bpitch Control’ and Dennis Ferrers ‘Objektivity’.
