Distrikt resident and Parisian based Egyptian artist Mehdi M has become an integral part of the French landscape. With tracks as hot as his collab with Bassam and Sakanat’s debut release ‘Break the Juno’ and his follow up extended EP coming late last year. There is little chance that you have escaped his infectious basslines and future retro electro flecked beats.

We welcome the man himself to our InSession series where he turns in a stomping mix bristling insane basslines and bombastic grooves. A perfect snapshot of the Egyptian’s unique view of dance floor music that has helped shape his native homeland and the country he now calls home.

Growing up together, we shared countless moments playing video games, sports, and engaging in mischief like knocking on doors and running away. We also discovered trance music together, deepening our bond. Jimmy is more than a friend; he's a brother from another mother.

In August 2023, Jim was diagnosed with leukaemia, shocking everyone who knew him.  Throughout 2023, Jimmy endured unimaginable trials during his treatment, including multiple rounds of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant in the summer.

Jimmy's journey is nothing short of inspiring, a testament to his resilience and strength. 'Warrior' is a humble tribute to his incredible fight—a reminder that he's not just a survivor but a champion. SJ yellow /Slovakia/ is fresh wind on a Prague electronic music scene. She embodies the right youthful energy behind the mix and beyond. From mixing frantic BPM to organizing own events (noRemorse and Duracell) in the most prestigious clubs in Prague. She is a resident of Prague club Fuchs2 and Milk ‘n’ Honey, erotic parties in Le Clan, Prague. Before her appearance on the electronic scene, she was a professional dancer. She grew up on hip-hop, RnB and funk, and this influence can definitely be felt in her sets. Interested in fast-paced music, her joyful bangers, and flawless transitions are guaranteed to get you moving.

Nina Farrina /Slovakia/ represents the new generation of DJ’s that are inspired by the sound of golden-era. Strong references from 90’s and 00’s sounds. Filthy, maximalistic, peak-time, psychedelic deep sounds combined with hardgroove and dirty bass while being inspired by soulful house music.
She is one of the co-founders of Cliwax in Bratislava and after moving to Prague she became a part of noRemorse and now she started new project Bruxa which is focused mainly on techno. Nina Farrina is also heavily interested in art, this name also stands behind her paintings, drawings and designs.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Wander. "Code Zero" comes off the new EP, From The Edge, forthcoming on Objection. While society is on the brink of implosion and minds sink into mechanical madness, technology continues to advance, imposing its pace on future generations. From The Edge immerses us into a dark world in the throes of transition to a dystopian life, where technology is taking root in the deepest recesses of society through controlled human degeneracy.

With constant energy as a guideline, Wander has composed this EP of four tracks of dark and EBM influenced hard techno with driving bassline and distopic elements.  Powerful tools with percussive rhythms and heavy atmospheres to immerse clubs in an electric madness.
