Gabe is based down in Devon and has been part of Sound Communities’ projects over several years. As well as being a talented producer, he’s recently joined Sound Communities’ team to lead music production sessions with other young people and DJs at events they’re invited to.

Presenter Jade Barnett speaks to youth worker and writer Ciaran Thapar, Drill artists Relly and Cristale, and to Jazz-Drill fusion duo, XVNGO and Master Mac, to find out how, despite all the negative media attention Drill receives, Drill forms a sense of community. Meanwhile, Manchester correspondent Alice Reid sits down with female and non-binary music collectives in Manchester and learns about the communities they are creating through their music.
