'Build,' the debut album from You Us We Them is deep, chaotic, and unapologetically beautiful. It is a relaxed but intricate collage of intimate and organic textures, contrasted by expansive reverbs, and futuristic soundscapes.

The album begins with the intimate introduction 'Sol,' a short, ambient poem that feels like a snapshot of laughing in the sun. Siren rolls gently in with chill lofi beats and swells of emotive synths. 'Build' enters a darker, mystical space adding cinematic elements and a slow, dramatic crescendo that sounds like a reconstruction of the mind. Finally, 'Luna (End Is The Beginning)' plunges deep into an ocean of ambience before rising suddenly into a tidal wave of powerful drums and glittering arpeggios. Put on your headphones... and DIVE.

I literally made this today instead of working on other projects

The emotion I get from this piece of music is overpowering. It embodies a lot of what I want to make for @youuswethem. It’s raw, it’s rough around the edges and extremely moving (at least for me). This is Chaos Work #006 Cosmic Rage

I improvised this in 5 takes...This is the fifth. I manually recorded this little arp sequence into my Prophet Rev and then improvised the melody and chord progression with my other hands live (no sequencing, editing, or cutting, just a little mixing in post.
