Cymka is the musical project of Axel, a passionate artist immersed in music production since the age of 16. Working with Ableton and hardware machines, he draws inspiration from soulful, disco, funky, and house sounds. Cymka crafts atmospheres that are both groovy and refined, creating a sonic universe that reflects a sincere and subtle love for music. Exploring a diverse and unexpected range of genres, each track and selection is carefully crafted to resonate with authenticity.

As co-manager of BMK Undergroove, he has made his mark this year with his EP Artificial Assistance and a track on the latest various artists’ vinyl from Below Collective. Currently, he’s working on a new record, ready to join DJs' crates everywhere.

Wow, time flies.

Tonight we're celebrating the 400th release on Brique Rouge, and honestly, I never thought we'd get this far when I started the label in 1999.
Twenty-six years later, we're still keeping a certain idea of house, techno, and electronic music in general alive.
The vibe comes first, fun above all else.

So yeah, we're not the talk of the town, we don't have one of our tracks in the latest Yoplait commercial, and Spotify doesn't even pay us anymore because we're so insignificant.
So what?

We're still here, and we'll go as far as we can.
I keep saying “we,” but I'm not talking about myself as if I were His Majesty the Director. No, I say “we” to highlight the myriad of artists who are part of the adventure and who are increasingly...  more
