Finally I've found some time and inspiration again to create another Ecstatic Dance mix @ home, which in this case is a collection of favorite tunes I've been playing out over the last few months of this past year. Tunes which made so many amazing freestyle frolicking freaky dancers float like awesome angelics and bounce like bewildered baboons allover those magic Ecstatic Dancefloors in the Netherlands. 💃🕺

I have once more tried to captivate the majestic magic of Ecstatic Dance in a dance flow and journey aimed to facilitate the release of all kinds of physical, emotional and mental tension and stress, as well as dosing this blend of musical masterpieces with all kinds of delicious moments of fun, happiness and bliss. 🥳

That being said, I won't waste more words on it apart from wishing you all tons of listening and dancing pleasure and paying a massive thank you to all the incredible 🔥❤️‍🔥 artists that created all these musical masterpieces of audio acupuncture and sonic satisfaction. Plant medicine and ceremony has been helping humanity heal for countless generations. Most people are familiar with the idea of going into the jungle and sitting in plant medicine ceremonies to heal themselves. This can be a beautiful thing and I am infinitely grateful for all of our plant and fungi teachers.
But did you know that you can experience a profound, psychedelic and medicinal journey without having to go to the jungle and drink medicine in ceremony?

Where can I do this?
In our ecstatic dance medicine circle, the powerful container that we all co-create and participate in every week. 

What makes this space powerful?
This space is intentionally created both physically and energetically and is created specifically for free self expression through the body without using words or conventional language.

How is this done? 
By simply getting out of your own way, getting  out of your rational and judge mental mind. 
By focusing on your breath and closing your eyes you can more easily tune into your physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. Trust me, they do want your attention! 
By bringing your awareness to these parts of yourself you then drop ever deeper into the present moment experience and it becomes easier and easier to simply and continual let go of the monkey mind when it pops up in your awareness. 

Allow this musical soundscape be your medicine journey. See if you can lose yourself in the music and really go for the ride. And don't worry, your rational mind will be waiting for you on the other side. 
This musical journey is crafted with lots of love and made in honor and gratitude of Vilcabamba/Ecuador/South America and all of Latin America and of course our African roots.

After playing an Epic summer of festivals in New Zealand I was super excited to get back to my roots and play an Ecstatic Dance for my community in Auckland (NZ). 

This set is a gentle dance wave that includes some singalongs, and a couply bangers and then some really beautiful melodic house tunes to finish. 

Throw this on when cooking dinner, going to the gym or you are in need of a good boogie.

​Yozéf, founder of Beyond Dance, is one of the most important "space holders" emerging in the Central Valley and Pacific Coast region of Costa Rica.

He is a visionary committed to creating a safe, substance-free, and therapeutic space for the exploration of the inner self through music and movement.​

Yozéf is not only continually growing and evolving as a leader and DJ, carefully weaving together lush fusions of worlds for the subtle landscapes of the soul, but he is also a pioneer who captures the full spectrum of the rainbow in his field of work, bringing a dynamic, sumptuous and satisfying experience for the healing and rejuvenation of the individual.

He has been a consecutive Movement facilitator and Ecstatic Dance Dj at the biggest International Festival in Central America called Envision Festival and has collaborated with Temple Step Project and Angata both international music producers, as Tour Manager and co-host.

He has played in many Ecstatic Dance communities around Europe and Colombia such as:

París, Montpellier, Burdeos, Nantes, Rome, Napoli, Zagreb, Barcelona and also Bogota, Colombia 

​He is an Embodiment​ Mentor and Facilitator​ dedicated to supporting people in their journey to liberate themselves mentally and physically through the pleasure of their own and free self expression in 1:1 settings. 

As an artist he has developed a Theater Ritual Perform​ance through the archetype and character of the Dragon to open up Ecstatic Dance portals in a psico-magical and creative way that involves a cacao circle, an intro to movement and Dj set.
