Kodomo’s full-length debut release – titled Still Life – will be released on October 7th, 2008 on New York’s 5 Points Records.  This release features 9 original tracks and a bonus track, “Spira Mirablis” - currently featured in the MTV/Harmonix iPod video game “Phase.” The concept for the record was born of a series of photographs, each one serving as a springboard for the music.  The album explores how images of environments, landscapes, people, and objects are used to evoke musical ideas; each image giving rise to various rhythms, chords, and sonic textures.  The photos were taken in Italy, China, Japan, Switzerland, & around the US.  The CD release has a deluxe package that includes an expanded booklet featuring all 9 photos.

Never Mess With Sunday

A few travels Sweden to France and vice-versa; constant bandwidth; and duo H.U.V.A. Network composed an album of immersive tunes infused with oneiric trip-hop, ambient geometries and morning trance.

[ Ephemeris ] is a deep sonic ground swell, an album of contrasts, 10 tracks structured upon subterranean bass lines, transversal and luminous pads, crisp, crunchy beats. A mesmerizing ensemble of fresh atmospheres and intense, forward driving melodies.

The inspiration for the album title comes from the artists Vincent Villuis and Magnus Birgersson's collaboration process, determined by the patterns of encounter in time and space, the alignment of creative moods and coordination of life's innate forces.

I played this track out on tour as 'unreleased' & ppl seemed to enjoy dancing to it so for your streaming/downloading pleasure, D'vocean. It's not a typical direction for me as it's more of a 'happy song' but I constantly encourage ppl to take their production out of their comfort zone so I must practice what I preach. Aurora Path is an instrumental journey carved from the stillness of New Age ambience and the glowing pulse of synthwave nostalgia. The track opens like the first shimmer of dawn on a frozen horizon—soft pads unfolding in slow, drifting waves, as if tracing the quiet breath of an awakening landscape.

Beneath the calm, a subtle retro-futuristic current emerges: warm analog synths gliding in arpeggiated patterns, echoing the neon-lit pulse of distant cities. The two worlds—earthly serenity and cosmic electronica—merge seamlessly, forming a path of light that feels both ancient and futuristic.

As the music progresses, shimmering tones rise like curtains of aurora drifting across the night sky, painting the space with iridescent colors you can almost feel. Gentle percussive textures appear, not to drive the rhythm, but to suggest motion—like footsteps on an unseen road, or the soft ticking of time stretching into the infinite.

The song invites the listener to travel inward: to follow the path of light, to drift through memory and imagination, to wander through places that exist only between the heartbeat and the breath. Aurora Path is not just a track—it’s a quiet pilgrimage through luminous space, a meditative ascent into a world where tranquility and synth-fueled wonder meet in perfect balance.
