This is my entry for the Kreasound hosted remix contest. the song was Oriel Freedom. I had an interesting time trying my hand at this one, it was a very unusual style. I attempted to stray too far from the original but added my own spice to the mix. Hope you like it.

I had an interesting time making this one (UNDERSTATEMENT)

My pc died twice, Had to replace the motherboard once and ever since my computer likes to freeze every ten seconds since so yeah that was fun (to be clear this has nothing to do with the competition or any materials obtained from MHA what so ever)

That said, I still enjoyed this comp so big thanks to MHA for the opportunity to do this.

SHADOWKEY & LITTLE THIEVES - Fall - Luke Owens Remix

Here is a small playlist of the current album I am working on. I have entitled this series, Songs of Skylight. As for what the Skylight Saga is, This is something you will have to wait to see in the future. I am rather unorthodox in my approach to music creation given the fact that I have no classical or modern music training, I am self-taught in all aspects of what I do here. I use a digital audio workstation called FL Studio to produce my work as I am not an instrument player as such. 

A little about the current series,

Each song is created on the basis that it shall support a scene in the Skylight Saga, it is an attempt to tell the story from another viewpoint. 

I am by no means a professional at what I do, in fact until very recently I had only attempted to produce music within the confines of the popular music culture genre. While I am pleased with what I have produced so far, I am very excited and determined to peruse a greater understanding of this beautiful world that Classical music resides within.

This one is to accompany Sable as she is plunged into the darkest corners of her mind by Maygus. he constructs an elaborate labyrinth within her mind hosting all of her memories from her past, Maygus gives Sable something of false hope as he asks her to find a specific memory within this labyrinth with the promise of freedom from his grasp and sadistic ideals. Little does Sable know she will never be able to find that memory as it had already been removed from within the labyrinth by Maygus as he intends to keep her conscious mind trapped within its mist Layden halls.
