Born Emmanuel Smith, on the 24th of November 1983 to Christian parents, this talented young man displayed an intense love for R&amp;B music from a very tender age, listening to his father playing Al Greene and Percy Sledge records. Emmanuel recalls sitting in front of the radio on Sundays and using a cassette to record the R&amp;B segments in order to play them all week, seeing that it was his favourite genre of music. Apart from loving to listen to R&amp;B Music, this future star had a beautifully high pitched singing voice during his early teen years, which enabled him to sing Usher and Boyz to Men songs with the greatest of ease but as he matured, his voice was changed and now donned a raspy almost sore sounding tone, this troubled the young singer as it now became extremely difficult to sing like he used to, this was very discouraging. Now after many years of silence, this explosive young man plunges into the Gospel Music Industry with a smooth, distinct R&amp;B voice and the amazing ability to rap with the best of them, he constantly amazes others because he still speaks with a raspy voice but sings with the sweet anointing of the Holy Spirit!
