'Rush' kicks off the EP with an insanely catchy stripped-back bassline, hop-scotching percussion, and elegant discordant synths peppered with dope vocals. 'Future Step' fuses techno, bass, and breakbeat, veering into madness with its revving engine sound effects and slick dub samples. It's a Lewis Hamilton-approved banger. 'Resilience' shines with warmth from the start, featuring beautiful vocal samples that give way to a world-class heavy bass track. The oxymoronic tension between soft and big is a standout feature.'Check One' showcases tripped-out vocal samples and a clipped bassline, forming a dance-heavy groove with its 4/4 floor beat and subtle background breaks. Hailing from Taipei, Taiwan, a city with a thriving nightlife that goes until the wee hours of the morning, Yuka grew up with the rise of the electronic music scene in Asia. Yuka cut her teeth as a producer and DJ in London in Camden Town.

While living in London, Yuka effortlessly bridged the underground to the mainstream in a male-dominated industry. She has opened for electronic artists like Cosmic Gate, The Crystal Method, Audien, Valentino Khan, Poolside, and Eric Prydz, and also live bands such as ALO, The California Honeydrops, and Rebirth Brass Band all while playing in premiere venues and nightclubs all over London, East Asia, and North America. Yuka sings and plays the Chinese flute, and DJ’s regularly with live musicians who play the Guzheng (古箏), violin, bass guitar, trumpet, and didgeridoo.

Yuka’s career highlights include: playing on the Insomniac Camp OG stage at EDC Las Vegas, playing at Ministry of Sound (London), and playing at Oil (Shenzhen).
 
In 2019, she founded the artist exchange program Nu Tekno and has been hosting events regularly since 2020.  Nu Tekno currently has monthly residencies at the Endup, Lion’s Den and Mars Bar in San Francisco.
