In the sprawling, neon-lit city of Neon Shroud, where holographic billboards cast electric hues across rain-slicked streets, the year is 2087. The city pulses with the hum of retro synths bleeding from underground clubs, and the air crackles with the tension of a society under the iron grip of the Nexus Corporation. This megacorp controls everything—data, dreams, and desires—through its omnipresent AI, Synthia, which monitors every move via neural implants mandatory for all citizens. 

But not everyone complies. A group of teenagers, calling themselves the Chrome Renegades, have found a way to bypass Synthia’s surveillance. They’re outcasts, hackers, and dreamers: Mia, a prodigy coder with a knack for cracking Nexus firewalls; Jaxon, a street racer with a modified hoverbike; Lena, a graffiti artist whose murals hide encrypted messages; and Kai, a synth musician whose beats carry subliminal calls to rebellion. 

They’ve never met in person—only connected through darknet channels—until tonight.

T-Minus Turbo

Persistence reveals its power through purposeful repetition. Direction sharpens, structures stabilize, and movement becomes deliberate rather than reactive. Each return strengthens the axis of intention, transforming hesitation into serene certainty. Over time, what once seemed static begins to glow, guiding movement through subtle shifts rather than forcing it. To persist is not to remain unchanged, but to refine alignment until movement and meaning converge into a steady, luminous path forward.

Implicate Order

This was written in August 2010, and was another of those tracks which appeared after I had merged two previous songs into one. 

The March 2013 edit/remix/master took 7 hours. I managed to shave off over 1 minute from the original, changed the timing of the quiet "breakdown" in the middle of the track, added to the synth "lead" line, modified one of the bass synth patches, split the kick onto a separate mixer track, changed the percussion panning and added a reverb. Then I EQd, levelled, added FerricTDS to the master bus and mastered. 

The July 2020 edit/remix/master is essentially a cosmetic update of the 2013 mix with a synth addition to the breakdown. The EQ has been improved, and I increased the level of the original synths. I have Satin on the master bus in the mix. For mastering I used T-Racks Dyna-Mu, Equal, Quad-Comp and the Stealth Limiter on quite gentle settings.

This remains comfortably in the chillzone.
