We don't want to give anything away but this chilling tale was based on a true story. It was just Beverly and her dog team settling down to sleep in her remote cabin in the Yukon when a strange visitor showed up in the middle of the night...

Strange Things Happen in the Land of the Midnight Sun

Two young men meet on a cliff one fateful night - one still crestfallen from the death of a lover years ago. The other, cloaked in shadows, is waiting to reveal his secret. "When Lost Love Returns!" is a gothic romance set in Whitehorse, Canada.

This comic play is inspired by the author's childhood growing up and watching Tele-Novelas on Argentinian TV. It's a soap opera inspired version of the coming of Springtime in Dawson City, Yukon.

The Young And The Rent - Less

Originally staged in summer 2021 during the Yukon Discovery Days holiday, this 3-monologue theatre piece, directed by Ange Bonnici and written by Robin Sharp, focuses on discoveries that go deeper than stories about striking gold. Three fictional Dawsonites, played by local talents Kelly Vittrekwa, Jared Klok and Julaine Debogorski, reflect on themes of identity, wellness, and what the future of the Klondike holds.

Days of Discovery - Three Monologues

Friends of the Palace Grand Theatre Society embarked on the creation of six new radio dramas for broadcast on CFYT Radio in Dawson City, Yukon in autumn 2020. The radio plays were produced locally in Dawson City with support from Yukon Arts Fund and Culture Quest. All of our radio plays were written by Yukoners on the theme of "Encounters of the Yukon".
