Shir Khan and the illusive Exploited crew reveal the first compilation of the cultishly adored Black Jukebox series. It includes the sunniest grooves you’ve heard this year. ’Shir Khan Presents Black Jukebox Disco Jam 01’ is a soundsystem-ready disco-house jam which tickles the subwoofers beautifully and seems purpose built for eyes-wide-shut Summer terrace play in big outdoor spaces. Black Jukebox is traversing the wide spectrum of ‘dancefloor’ music.  There’s much to excite: All four tracks are built for rooftop parties with the deep V crew.
From slo-mo housed up boogie-soul, to a loft-party future classic, to a feel-good, sun-blushed, druggy, late night electric jam, to main room filtered disco house and subbass-bugged R&B…it’s all there.  It’s no wonder the Black Jukebox Vinyl series became buy-on-sight and quick to disappear. Launched in late 2011 by Shir Khan, Black Jukebox was mainly focussed on Vinyl Releases. 13 Releases later, this is the first compilation which sums up some of the best moments and features 3 tracks that were digitally never available before.

Lesson 1 is already the third single of L’Equipe du Son’s forthcoming debut album ‘Supersonic’. After the success of ‘Love Will Find A Way’ LEDS come with an educational piece, ‘Lesson 1 (French for romantic purposes)’. 

The original version is a mixture between disco-mood sounds and breathy pop, deeply influenced by the synthesizer sounds of the 70s and 80s.

The first remix comes from The Legendary 1979 Orchestra and with carefully crafted swirling bells and warm synthlines the TL1979O remix has actually continued in the style of the original.

Hailing from Melbourne’s Inner-West it’s Silhouette Music regular Yasumo providing an entirely new approach. A perfect blend of guitars and, well, pure funk!

Rayko has an impressive portfolio of releases under his belt and has an almost insatiable thirst for editing both classics and lost gems in his distinctive and infectious style. This remix is only a confirmation of this, noticeable from the moment you hear the first bass key, it’s disco baby!

Start with two scoops of soft sand and sparkling sunshine by the sea. Blend with friendly laughter splashing along the shore, then add a dash of delight with Santana's elegant vocals in the fore. Sprinkle a spoonful of pure happiness, and spice it up with French style synths. Tie it all together with CLAAP!'s percussive signature. 
Shake with vigor, and voila!
Once again, CLAAP! & SANTANA whip up the perfect recipe to enchant our ears and energize our dance moves during those warm summer nights (and days) with their new EP "Dune"!

The title-track "Dune" gets a hot sugar-free remix by mysterious band High Ceilings.
Cherry on top, Yuksek is treating us with a unique banging afro funk remix of "Summertime" that will turn up the heat even higher.

Finally, we meet again with LA-based Belarusian artist Polina Rabtseva, who shot the sunwashed, feel good video of "Jacques" (CLAAP! & SANTANA's previous single).
This time, she's taking care of the artwork, charming us with this freehand drawing of a portrait of Santana she actually shot on the Dune du Pilat.
