The “Under the Covers” EP is a collaborative project started by David Marston and Brigitte Zozula. During an impromptu rehearsal session, David and Brigitte decided to record reinterpretations of songs they had previously written and performed together. 
The material on the EP consists of a rework of “Pussy”, originally written by Marston and Nick Monaco, “Trust Me”, written and composed by Marston and Zozula, and lastly, a song inspired by an African Soul ballad. The music fuses elements of Disco, RnB, Reggae, Dub, Jazz, and Latin music

Beware, Discomatin is back. In 2018, the Parisian crew of diggers and DJ’s originally known for their edits goes official with fully licensed and remastered reissues. For this new adventure, they chose an incredible in-demand French boogie EP from Diva, an eighties funk band from Bordeaux.  
Diva only released one EP with La Nuit, a sentimental, almost poetic boogie banger with great synth, guitar and vocal parts. The track could honestly have been a radio hit in the eighties with some real promotion. Today, it’s still time to make it right and it is already an anthem in the French underground disco scene.   
 Originally on the B side of the 1985 original release on Cactus, "La Nuit" is here available with its two different versions (12’’ and 7’’ mix) and comes also with “Prise Au Piège”, a more synth-pop influenced funk track which gave its name to the original release. 
 The band was formed by Gabrielle Andriampanana, Alex Louisor and Olivier Renoir. Before Diva, these last two already played together in the local new-wave band Bolton which was one of the first of the area to use synthetisers. Even if they had a small recognition at the time, the original release stood quite underground. Thanks to Discomatin, it’s now available to the real connoisseurs and still with the fantastic illustrations of French artist Camille de Cussac on the back cover.  Our guest today is one of the great artists of the Dark Disco / Indie Dance / Italo disco scene. We have always supported her work since we heard her Original EP, we fell in love with her powerful bass and her Italo Moderni vibes. 
Based in Mexico, she has traveled all over Europe playing in the best clubs and especially in the Mayan Warrior where she made the public explode with her great mix! UJU RECORDS is her record label and soon we'll see more music coming out in her own charismatic style. 

Thanks to all the people who have been supporting us from day 0 until today, in less than 6 months we have 1000 followers, for us it is a huge achievement. it is really amazing! Hi Amazon and Google ... yeahh we are great in music business .... hahaha 

We are a great family!

 We will continue traveling in this italo trip!
