Wow, this was my favourite set I've played to date. I had the opportunity to play an amazing slot on the Bush Techno stage at Esoteric Festival. Being my first big performance back since the world went on pause, I wanted to throw in plenty of the originals I'd been working on over the past two years, many that are unreleased. It was such a special set with so much energy in the crowd, I can't thank everyone enough for showing the love and creating a warm vibe at the stage. Hope you enjoy reliving the moment :)

Dragon Dreaming 2022 - this festival was the first party I ever attended many years ago, the first time I ever played a set completely made up of my own creations and a place that has shaped my life and sound in so many ways. Seeing it flying again after three long years on hiatus and being reunited with so many special people was an absolute treat. The lake was full, the skies were blue, the grass was green and there were smiles all around. This is a recording of the icing on the cake, being given the privilege of playing the closing set on the main stage was a real full circle moment for me, and one I will always cherish, so thank you to the organisers and everyone who was there for the whole weekend and made it so bloody special. Better late than never - here's my recording for the October Habitat last year! This was a closing psytech (with a little dark prog at the end) set 3-5am after @lewis-music-sa. Having opened for him earlier in the year at Echo (https://soundcloud.com/deacon_za/echo-valley-of-dreams-sat-night-26-march-2022) it was nice to flip things around and it allowed me to dive into the darker side of my collection. Taking over from his high energy sound was a fun challenge. It was also one of the biggest (and best crowds) I've played to - which all resulted in probably my favourite psychedelic techno progression thus far. Hope you guys enjoy it!
