REVIEW:

Yulio (Julio Muñoz) presents his fifth album “Cosmic Fractal”, an album combining electronic, ambient and
cosmic elements to create a soundscape that transports you through space and time.

Cosmic fractals are geometric patterns found in nature and repeated at different scales throughout the
universe. These patterns can be found in cosmic structures such as galaxies, nebulae and in the large-scale
distribution of matter in the universe, generated through complex physical processes such as gravitation,
turbulence and radiation.

Cosmic fractals study has helped scientists to better understand the structure and evolution of the universe.
In addition, their beauty and complexity has fascinated artists, people interested in science and nature.

All this mystery was studied and clarified by Benoit Mandelbrot (1924-2010), a mathematician known for his
pioneering work in fractal theory and fractal geometry. Mandelbrot was one of the first to realize the
importance of self-similarity, scale in nature and complex phenomena. His work opened a new field in
mathematics and computer science. His ideas have been applied in many areas, including physics, biology,
economics, engineering, and music (why not?)..

From the very start, a unique atmosphere can be perceived, due to evolving and constantly changing sound
effects. Yulio adds an extra complexity and texture layer to every composition, developing a character
and personality of their own, wrapped by an exploratory approach, leading to even more intimate discoveries.

These energetic pieces make your senses vibrate with space-like sounds, while the more relaxing ones
motivate self-reflection and contemplation.

Summing up, “Cosmic Fractal” is a fascinating listening experience, taking you on a journey through
galaxies and the cosmos – a house trademark . The elements mixture, as well as sonic fractality, create
a unique music work – one we recommend to any electronic music fan.

Yulio is back with new Album compilation…with 20 tracks … where he reviews his discography after releasing 6 albums and several EPs in his career as a producer.

it is an absolutely hypnotic musical journey! From IDM, Trip Hop, Breaks and Chill-Out, the album is very diversified and offers flavors from a bit everywhere in the Indie Electronic music spectrum. The album is transporting, it is a true musical introspection, the ambiance is trippy and enigmatic, it is one of those albums that you start from track one, close your eyes and let the music penetrate your soul. While the album has an ethereal experimental feel, the sound design is very impressive and fresh, it is finely-calibrated to really maximize the cerebral impact and evolution of the journey. It feels good to experience something unique in the electronic music world, most of the music released nowadays is rarely original nor fresh, way too many producers are copying others’ sound, but not Yulio, his sound is infectious and he delivers a unique atmosphere that would make a terrific OST for a sci-fi movie. Grab your headphones and let him transport you into this deep cerebral and spacial musical journey. Yulio & Kraftoptical are definitely two entities to keep on your radar for quality Indie Electronic, IDM and Electronica music, make sure to follow them on their social networks to stay up to date with their releases.

Yulio (Julio Muñoz) presents his fifth album “Cosmic Fractal”, an album combining electronic, ambient and
cosmic elements to create a soundscape that transports you through space and time.

Cosmic fractals are geometric patterns found in nature and repeated at different scales throughout the
universe. These patterns can be found in cosmic structures such as galaxies, nebulae and in the large-scale
distribution of matter in the universe, generated through complex physical processes such as gravitation,
turbulence and radiation.

Cosmic fractals study has helped scientists to better understand the structure and evolution of the universe.
In addition, their beauty and complexity has fascinated artists, people interested in science and nature.

All this mystery was studied and clarified by Benoit Mandelbrot (1924-2010), a mathematician known for his
pioneering work in fractal theory and fractal geometry. Mandelbrot was one of the first to realize the
importance of self-similarity, scale in nature and complex phenomena. His work opened a new field in
mathematics and computer science. His ideas have been applied in many areas, including physics, biology,
economics, engineering, and music (why not?)..

From the very start, a unique atmosphere can be perceived, due to evolving and constantly changing sound
effects. Yulio adds an extra complexity and texture layer to every composition, developing a character
and personality of their own, wrapped by an exploratory approach, leading to even more intimate discoveries.

These energetic pieces make your senses vibrate with space-like sounds, while the more relaxing ones
motivate self-reflection and contemplation.

YULIO presenta su primer Album Titulado "Future Elqui" en plano mas experimental pero siempre con sus sonidos dramáticos marcado por la electrónica orientada a la tecnología de los 0 y 1, aunque no se descartan en el futuro trabajos orientados a formatos mas acústicos, ya que en esta oportunidad la síntesis sonora nos lleva a viajar en distantas direcciones , amasando y destruyendo el audio de distintas maneras ala vez , inspirado en bagaje de muchos anos de trabajo en proyectos , tanto en la producción, promoción, imagen, discográficas y estudios , alo largo del globo, Chile, Espana, Australia y ahora en Croacia , donde tiene su estación base.
Cabe destacar que el álbum esta inspirado en el pequeño llamado Valle de Elqui (Chile) , lleno historia y simbolismo, de donde llama a sus raíces, familia y amigos sobretodo en su primera época de estudiante.
Los 9 tracks están elaborados bajo atmósferas densas ,dominates, con ritmos y contradicciones sonoras , esta mezclado en su estudio de ZAGREB , con mas de 50 pistas en cada track , con un simbolismo claro, pero ala vez alucinante, cada corte tiene una historia un principio, desarrollo, un final dulce o dramantico según el caso , que nos lleva explorar nuestras inquietas neuronas.
El primer track Elqui nos recuerda al dramatismo de bandas como My Bloddy Valentine obviamente en un contexto electrónico, que es inspiración sobre todo en su época de juventud del mismo , pasando al track Paihuano que donde proviene su familia materna , donde comienza el viaje y el lado mas romántico del Album , En Pisco nos lleva al centro del universo , con sonidos de ensueño, ya que el Valle de Elqui se caracteriza también por su claridad en su cielo nocturno ,siendo uno de los importantes del mundo , por eso están asentados los varios observatorios astronómicos en aquel entorno.
Con Rivadavia el bloque sonoro es total con múltiples sonidos y texturas que nos transportan al infinito, es por ende el track mas estetico , por Montegrande se asoma el beat mas marcado, elegante y placído , mezclado en la misma linea del álbum . 
Coquiguaz quizás el track mas representativo , el big ban esta aquí como muestra de poder y pragmatismo sonoro, incluso llegando a aun estigma mas Industrial, La Laguna es el Track mas travieso y con quiebres mas latinos cayendo en Banos del Toro que es el track mas Techno por decirlo así, si quieres romper tus Monitores aquí es tu oportunidad , aunque es el track es muy imnotico , es ideal para insertarle efectos sonoros o hacer un remix mas de club según el caso, terminado con Paso de Agua Negra , donde se termina el álbum con la característica sonora de este, que nos lleva ala despedida del viaje , pero no es así , existe un renacer …Yulio nos tiene preparado seguramente mas panoramas sonoros y proyectos en un futuro no muy lejano…a continuación están links para escuchar el Album , donde en el portal de bandcamp existe la posibilidad de de bajar un Bonus track.

2022 is about to launch in August the new Ep Teslatron where represents the relationship between the analog and digital through a sound journey driven by the electrical oscillations produced by circuits and voltage inspired by the famous Nikola Tesla .... This new Ep the Yulio will be the prelude to his fifth album Cosmic Fractal inspired by the teachings of Benoit Mandelbrot, which will be released at the beginning of 2023.
