With styles ranging from garagehouse to Hiphop to electro pop, it’s hard to pin down what genre WEARETHEGOOD lives In, and that’s exactly how they want it. The duo formed in 2020 after leading production on R&B up and comer Byron Juane (Promise I’m Not Crazy) and crafting a slew of hits for Christian Hip Hop artist KB (His Glory Alone) including the billboard #1 single “Armies”. But it was after the Lecrae/Boi1da assisted “My Time (Suit Sequence)” from Sony/Marvel’s “Spider-Man Myles Morales” that the group knew they needed to come out of the shadows and put a face to the hits. “I’ve spent a ton of my life giving everyone a voice and helping them discover their sound, but now I want to spend more time speaking for myself and just making the music that makes me happy as opposed to what A&Rs want.” - Wes. The group has released multiple EPs so far in 2021 spawning several hit singles including the horror inspired “beautiful catastrophe” with Frank Bentley, “The Dark” with frequent collaborator Lynnea, and the swagger filled “Mood.”

For a long time I played it cool in the beginning of relationships. It was never in line with the actual intense feelings I had caught. Often, keeping how I really felt from someone pushed them away. I appeared aloof and disinterested when I really wasn’t. I wrote this song with my friend, Tay Dex. Coming up with the lyrics was an exercise in admitting what I’ve always wanted to be to someone: a rock, a go-to, a lifeline so-to-speak. 
Kat Meoz is a Venezuelan-American songwriter who has been under a growing spotlight the past few years; her gritty pop most notably catching the attention of giants like Pepsi and Playstation. Latest releases from Kat combine her love of in-your-face stadium sized noise with the singer-songwriter roots she came up with. Originally hailing from Las Vegas but taking up court in Los Angeles since the early aughts, Kat’s impressive vocal technique is often compared to Joan Jett, Janis Joplin, and Alanis Morissette. With plans to become a household name herself, the powerhouse of a vocalist is well on her way.
