"mattered" developed into a collection of nine tracks over a period of nine months. during this time, there has been change and (hopefully) personal growth in my life. most of "mattered" was made at my apartment in toronto except for 'notch' which was done in montreal. i draw on the artists i look up to and whose works have helped me reflect on the people and things that matter to me.
