Hey. My name’s Mike Murda. Born and raised Bronx NYC. Residing in Reno, NV. I make dance music. I’m in love with just about every avenue but my major love is for ukg and uk140. I wanted to share some of the songs I’ve made since getting back into producing thanks to the inspiration of many beautiful souls. 

I named this ep “Ego Dissolution” because of last summer and all I’ve experienced. The journey of taking a lot of psychedelics. After I lost who I thought was the love of my life i started this solo journey and learned to walk alone again. Learned to be lover I wanted. I learned that wanting nothing would give me everything.  Now I have it all once again 🫶🏾

Along this walk I’ve met so many beautiful people and have made new friends. I’m very thankful for these connections. I’ve also found this new beautiful version of myself. Creativity has come back to me. My energy is now free flowing and so is my love. 

Got back into producing about a month ago thanks to this amazing/ very inspiring woman. Didn’t know where to start or how to take off from were I left off (hip hop/rap) but I quickly got back into a groove and this groove led me to make UKG/uk140 & dnb , which happens to be my roots of dance music. Jungle and dnb started everything for me. So this ep pays homage to that, my first love in dance music. Let this be an expression of what I’m feeling at the moment. Also an introduction for what’s to come in the future. I give you this from my heart ❤️

Won’t dwell too long because I’m finding my sound and I can’t do that taking to long on songs. Going to just make what comes to mind and keep exploring the possibilities. side note. I'm not making music to become famous I'm doing to see people dance to my shit. behind this lengthy tunes. id imagine this a roller and folks dancing to this endlessly until the next tune decides to make its appearance. that's what I want out of my tunes. people dancing
