This is a song that I originally composed for the movie John Wick. The original version of this song was only about 1 minute long as I only wrote it to be the length of the scene that i wrote it for in the movie. After the soundtrack came out I received a great deal of requests from people asking me to do an extended version of this song so here it is! I finally got around to making some time to knock out this extended version of the song and i'm offering it as a free download as a thank you to all of the fans that have supported my music and the film!

Azaleh - Moonlight 

The perfect beginning of the newest IMMINENT story. 
The opening track on the Florescence compilation tenderly embraces listeners with a soft piano intro, signifying the beginning of evening time in the digital city of our sonic aesthetics. In a moment, Moonlight starts to project a beam of bright white light with the track immediate unfolding. 
The viscous dynamics of Moonlight is led by tangible bass-line and pulsating percussion, reminding of the medusa underwater movement. Vocal samples and atmospheric synth pads, appearing and dissipating like momentary echoes, provide listeners with an eclectic mix of nostalgia and a sense of new discoveries. Less intense ambient sequences without percussion straighten sonic variety of the piece, creating a visual image of a fade out screen before the next scene of our music story called Florescence is introduced. 
Interestingly, the possibly final text supplement for our fundamental Florescence compilation release is a review on the opening track by a producer named Azaleh, his commentary and, most importantly, an upcoming exclusive interview with the artist himself. Nevertheless, it’s a great opportunity to rediscover this sonic gift that is the compilation release. More art miracles are coming your way from the IMMINENT collective. 

Azalehs commentary on the track:

Moonlight is a really important track to me. Most of it's melodic work was laying around for a long time and I didn't know how to finish it. One day, on a train ride through Sweden I started writing what became the outro of the track later. I didn't mean to combine it with the rest of the track at first, but when I had the idea it made so much sense and sounded great to me too.
Listening to it wakes so many memories, it reminds me of the places I've been to and the people I met.
I hope that it makes you feel alike and takes you on a journey too.
