To celebrate Black Music Month and Pride Month, I'm not letting the month end without releasing something. InfideLity and and Lies, is a the shortest track on the Album I’m working on. It follows the narrative of being an idol of lust inspiring infidelity in men who are publicly romantically linked in supposedly monogamous relationships, primarily of the heterosexual variety, but it laments in the understanding of oneself as a ‘homewrecker’. Reckoning with the fact that you are a side piece, not the only lover,  and losing the previously celebrated false sense of confidence as an object of desire strong enough to tempt cheating, through the understanding that there is no winning in being the object of affection to a cheater. It’s also an exploration of how women, both transgender and cisgender, femmes, and openly queer men are often struggling in solidarity with each other against unfaithful men, especially when it comes to DL men. This track is largely a commentary on the fact that despite DL men rebuking any claim to queerness, it is queerness that is often directly scapegoated for their infidelity, leaving the weight of dishonest men’s actions to be shouldered by people who are actually queer, especially openly bisexual men. This track explores the unfortunate tendency of some women to be cheated on and subsequently place more vitriol on the secondary partner in infidelity, whether they are knowing participants or not, over the man actively choosing to participate in infidelity while often keeping all other parties in the dark.

I wanted to release something somewhere for leap day, so I'm dropping this now, here, whether I think it's ready or not, even though I haven't done a lot of things I wanted to for this release, when it hits the other streaming platforms hopefully those things will have been accomplished.

This is a compilation of two Beyoncé Remixes from DJ Sir CRKS and Lucifuck(Update from 2017 a few years after seeing both of these tracks on tumblr and throwing them together... I never realized lucifuck was Big Momma until now, cause I'm a dumbass). Both mixes gave me life but weren't individually long enough for any type of substantial popping so I threw them together. The links where I found the mixes by Lucifuck and DJ sir CRKS are down, but you should check them out as artist in general. This mix about two years old, but a friend asked me to upload it.
