This song is a deeply personal exploration of the complexities of creativity, ego, and the human experience. The entire concept was born from the mind of my friend ShAnkAri, who shared with me her thoughts on the pain of being an originator, only to see her ideas and influences go unacknowledged. I was inspired to take her ideas and craft them into a song, and I'm proud to give her co-writing credit for this piece.

The song grapples with the tension between artistic expression and the desire for recognition, as well as the struggle to transcend the ego and find freedom from the trappings of pride and fame. At its core, the song is about the power of beauty to both inspire and ensnare us, and the importance of learning to witness our own experiences rather than becoming mired in them.

Through the lyrics, I aim to capture the nuances of this inner conflict, and the ways in which our experiences shape us, even as we strive to rise above them. The song is an invitation to reflect on the nature of creativity, identity, and the human condition, and to find a deeper understanding of ourselves and our place in the world. VickStiX @vicky-adair
