Had this crazy ass dream today {05/19/24} Started with my sleep playlist on shuffle, then SoundCloud did its thing. This dream was heavily Purge inspired, mixed with some childhood trauma, meeting a few celebs, crazy Purge theme parties that got messy, acts of grand theft auto, internalized abandonment issues, self awareness, and hope. Ending with a super risky escape as the sun comes up, closing out with my crew seeing the same homeless guy at the end of our street that we saw when we left the crib. Props to him for surviving ✊🏽 if he can do it, we can too.

This playlist is the sequence of songs playing under my pillow while this dream occurred, minus two repeats (Kings plays a second time near the end and so does “rain after sex”)

Vivid dreams are one thing… but there isn’t a doubt in my mind that this was my mind peering into an alternate reality. Be it a parallel dimension or some other concept that the human mind can only dream of comprehending, I felt these emotions, we did these things, and we just barely got away with it.
I hope somewhere in the stars that homeless dude is getting rich, and my other self is handling her sh*t cuz girl that’s a lot to unpack...

Maybe this version of me will learn not to go to sleep at 5am anymore 🤦🏽‍♀️

Hey guys - I just wanted to thank every one of my listeners for all of the support in 2016  because I appreciate every one of you (a million plays - god damn!). This album means a lot to me because I've been working on it for like 6 months. Not like I've been sweating out tedious tracks or anything, but I've been having some issues which can make it harder for me to make beats than it was before, so I work with more of a process where I just wait until I make a track which I feel fits the vibe of whichever project/concept I'm putting together. Like "Oddsummer," most these songs all kinda have some kind of personal significance, but I feel like anyone can enjoy them. Also, I'm goanna be doing some cool stuff in 2017 - watch out for me!
