Bio: Yung Prynce

American recording artist, rapper, songwriter and actor Yung Prynce was born as Domonique Lamont Pitchford on June 1st, 1994 in Milwaukee. His love for music began at a very young age, as he grew up watching members of his family creating and performing songs. He began his “rap career” while he was in the third grade at Milwaukee’s Congress Elementary School. The school’s faculty encouraged Yung Pryncey and a friend to perform their hip hop for various classrooms (much to the delight of their classmates). 
“It made me understand the importance of communicating to my audience,” Yung Prynce now says, “And it taught me how to maintain myself in front of a crowd.”
A few years later, as a middle school student, he again attracted the attention of the school’s faculty and administration. This time (to his pleasant surprise), he was asked to record a song that would represent their school. He wrote and recorded the track, and it immediately earned a spot on a local radio station. As a follow up, he performed the song on stage at a school pep rally in front of a wildly enthusiastic audience of 3000 students. 
Yung Prynce eventually landed in Atlanta, where he began to take his music career a little more seriously, and he began recording more singles and performing in venues throughout the city. Now at 20, he’s taking his music to a higher level, recording his first EP, “The Arrival,” which features the dynamic tracks “In my Zone” and “Anyways.” 
Citing artists such as Drake, Lil Wayne, and Lil Boosie as his influences, Prynce has found his own niche, as well as a home on the stages of colleges throughout Metro Atlanta. He’s also had a song featured by fellow artist “Casino” (on Future’s label, Freebandz Gang).  As for Yung Prynce’s own future, the young rapper believes his ambition will help him achieve his goals. “Dedication and determination are the only things I need,” he says, “God will handle the rest.”
