Writing this song meant a lot to me.
I had started questioning my passions and abilities and was experiencing major writing/production inspiration blocks when I came across this beautiful beat by Elevated which happened to sample Woods by Bon Iver. Kanye West also used Woods in his song Lost in the World to create a completely different sounding track, and this is what inspired me to write over this beat. I realize it's okay to look to other artists for that creative push sometimes - everyone does it. What I wrote turned out rather personal, but the idea behind this song was to kind of act as a coping mechanism for my best friend and I to forget whatever shit we were going thru... ur world may feel like it's falling apart, but fuck it, let's just go drive into the woods & get hella baked.
