Augusto Amone Jr., artistically known as YungStutter, is a Mozambican Artist that began his carrer on 2018. He decided to start making music because his dad in 2011 played him Drake’s album “Take Care” and also because he can only express some feelings and thoughts he has through music. He started writing because in high school he used to sell drugs and got caught. So his parents grounded him for 3 weeks. At that moment, filled with anger, he decided to pour it out on a paper.
His first song appearence was “Frenemies” by DeC on which he was featured. His first single was “Call Me”, and both tracks dropped in 2018. Then in November 2018 he had his 2nd appearance on a track named Twerk by Frxvk and that was basically their hit record for a while.
At the end of 2019 he dropped his debut EP on SoundCloud titled “Months Before Madness” that has 5 songs and it features DeC, Cartaphilus and May.

Before dropping the EP he had to fly out to Italy to pursue his college dreams so he couldn’t exactly finish the EP. And being away from home and from his independent label Box Up Records he couldn’t really record for a while until he bought a mic and started sending his vocals to Frxvk, that also does the job of Mixing & Mastering all of the songs from Box Up. After buying the mic he started recording songs and he decided that he wanted to drop “Vibin” as his “comeback” single. So 30th of October 2020, he dropped his first single of the year, and this time on most streaming platforms so more people can have acess to it. At this moment him and his team are working on his debut Mixtape called “MADNESS”, expected to drop middle 2021.
Augusto Amone Jr., artisticamente conhecido como YungStutter, é um artista Moçambicano que iniciou a sua carreira em 2018. Decidiu começar a fazer música porque o seu pai em 2011 tocou-lhe o álbum de Drake “Take Care” e também porque só consegue expressar alguns sentimentos e pensamentos através da música. Ele começou a escrever porque no ensino médio vendia drogas na sua escola e foi apanhado. Seus pais o deixaram de castigo por 3 semanas. Naquele momento, cheio de raiva, ele decidiu a despejar em um papel.
Sua primeira aparição na música foi “Frenemies”, de DeC, na qual participou. Seu primeiro single foi “Call Me”, e ambas as faixas foram lançadas em 2018. Então, em Novembro de 2018, ele teve a sua segunda aparição em uma faixa chamada Twerk de Frxvk e esse foi basicamente o projecto de sucesso por um tempo.
No final de 2019 ele lançou sua EP de estreia intitulada “Months Before Madness”, que tem 5 músicas e a EP tem como participantes DeC, Cartaphilus e May.
Antes de lançar a EP, ele teve que voar para a Itália para perseguir seus sonhos de faculdade, então ele não poderia exatamente terminar a EP. E estando longe de casa e da sua gravadora discográfica independente Box Up Records ele não conseguiu gravar por um tempo até que comprou um microfone e começou a enviar a suas vocais para Frxvk, que também faz o trabalho de mixagem e masterização de todas as músicas da Box Up . Depois de comprar o microfone, ele começou a gravar músicas e decidiu que queria lançar “Vibin” como seu single de “retorno”. Então, 30 de outubro de 2020, ele lançou seu primeiro single do ano, e desta vez na maioria das plataformas de streaming para que mais pessoas possam ter acesso a sua música. Neste momento, ele e sua equipe estão a trabalhar na sua Mixtape de estreia chamada “MADNESS”, prevista para sair em meados de 2021.
