Pardon the clunky title. Practice Sessions 21 is a special one - my first digitally recorded mix on a pair of Pioneer XDJs. (It was also my third time ever digitally DJing - safe to say, practicing on turntables translates very well into digital mixing). Tracks from Dark0, Samba, K-Lone, Swimful, Phossa, Skee Mask, and many more.

This mix was broadcasted live on Titan Radio, CSUF's student-run campus radio station, as part of the sixth episode of Titan Radio After Hours (Thursdays from 6 to 8 PM). Thanks to Julio / MNIS (https://www.mixcloud.com/MNIS823/) for having me on the show.

Part 1 out of 2 - this mix deals with my personal, typical DJ fare I listen to - ranging from breaky techno, to downtempo vibes, to 140 tracks all across the spectrum.

tripes is a student of various genres, but draws particular inspiration from new wave of DIY young dancehall artists in Mauritius. He pushes “Limerence” away from its dancehall skeleton and gives it a much heavier beat that layers in his signature deep and wavy sound. Watch out for his forthcoming EP on Paradoxe Club soon.
