Hailing from the streets of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, comes Yung Zeus. This burgeoning artist is destined to be one of Hip-Hop’s greats! Emerging from a small hood, known as Garfield Street, hip-hop was almost non-existent in his predominantly white neighborhood. Being a natural born leader, Yung Zeus saw this as an opportunity to make a name for himself, and that he did!

Yung Zeus has made his mark in the hip-hop game with a distinct aggressive sound. Riding over trap beats was simply not enough, so he created a potent sound with a rock influence. At the mere age of fifteen, Zeus entered the rap game after being introduced to a producer by the name of Flame Game. He was a natural! When he picked up the mic and started freestyling, his confidence and flow captivated his listeners, making him a local star in his neighborhood. One of Zeus’s biggest supporters was his best friend Mike, who was more like a brother. Mike was hands-on with all of Zeus’s projects. Together they started a record label, Monsters Overboard. All was well, then … disaster struck.

An altercation ensued at a gas station in 2012, and Mike was shot and killed. The vicious streets had dug its claws deep into their dreams, almost devouring them completely. Yung Zeus was devastated, yet his loyalty to Mike gave him the strength to keep the flame alive. Passionately rapping in honor of his friend, Yung Zeus’s first project entitled, “Ididitformike” went viral! His story of pain and courage was relatable to many who encountered similar struggles.

Yung Zeus now comes to the stage with his well-anticipated follow-up project “G-Block”. Like the Greek God Zeus, he is destined to rule the game. With his universal sound and poignant lyrical content, he is more than an artist. Yung Zeus is predicted to become a global phenomenon!
