Howdy! Here's my sequel to my "i miss u" mix! After all the love I got on the first mix, I couldn't help but make a part two. 

This mix is all about healing and getting over that one person that broke you the most. Pain, sadness, regret, and any negative emotion you may feel is vital to your healing process. Those feelings that you have are not only valid, but they are extremely important stepping stones into feeling happiness once more. Take the emotions and learn from them. 

It's ok not to be ok, but just know that you won't always feel that way and you will overcome those feelings, but it's up to you to remember that and to take the steps to feel better! This mix was made to (hopefully) help you feel those emotions, and take you on the journey of what it is like to come to terms with sadness, and using that mental awareness to feel the liberation of hitting that turning point into happiness.

Things will get better I promise :)

It's painful to say goodbye to someone you don't want to let go, but it's even more painful to ask someone to stay if they never wanted to in the first place.

Goodbyes are never easy. In fact they are very much painful and dreadful. No matter how much pain and dread they can endure in you, it is important to understand that sometimes, letting go is necessary. Sometimes in life, you come to a realization that saying goodbye, and parting ways is just a way to set them, and yourself, free, and I think that can be very beautiful. It may hurt, and you may find yourself missing that one person, but I promise you, time heals everything and you will realize how much beauty there can be from letting go.

I made this mix, using electronic and acoustic elements, hoping to bring that feeling to life. I hope listening to this can help you in some way, shape or form.

what's up everyone :) it's been quite some time since i posted a mix in here. about half a year to be exact. to be honest, working on mixes has been pretty tough - especially as i try to finish up school - but i am so fckin excited to post this mix after a long hiatus!

this is my first ever concept mix, and i'm so excited to share with you guys what i've been putting together!

when i think about love and relationships, i think about 4 main phases:

1. 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒚𝒎𝒐𝒐𝒏 𝒑𝒉𝒂𝒔𝒆: this is that puppy love that everyone fantasizes about. it seems like nothing could possibly go wrong and the feelings of serotonin has you feeling on top of the world with your partner.

2. 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝒑𝒉𝒂𝒔𝒆: all good things must come to an end, and that includes the honeymoon phase. in this phase, many aspects of your relationship will be put to the test and you'll be feeling confused and angsty. it's going to be hard, but it's up to the two of you to communicate and to try your best to make the relationship work.

3. 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒛𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒑𝒉𝒂𝒔𝒆: this is the time that makes or breaks many relationships. you realize one of two things, 1. you're better off parting ways, or hopefully 2. your partner is someone that you don't want to lose. 

4. 𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 (𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒚): this is the stage in your relationship after (hopefully) breaking through the realization phase. you realize that you would do anything for your partner and that you would love them no matter the circumstances of yourself, them, or the status of your relationship. this is the stage we all hope and strive to reach with our partners during the honeymoon phase, and it's the reason why we try to love.

*disclaimer* i'm sure there's plenty of other phases in relationships, but after reading some articles, these were the ones that stood out the most to me and made the most sense for my mix :) it's also important to understand that relationships are not cookie cutter and are never linear. there will be ups and downs in every phase or stage of a relationship, but what matters the most is the love and effort that is put into them!!
