An authentic musician far distanced from mainstream medias to find his own voice, his own touch, and always willing to surpass his own accomplishments. If we had to summarise his music, we would “only” have to say that it takes us by the gut and soothe our mind until we’re somewhere else, perhaps in outer space.

After multiple releases, Netpune went into exile with his music for a while to get the best out of it. Today, he comes back and presents an all-new opus that will surely take your breath away.

This logbook is divided in three portions like stars of a constellation he followed to come back home. The journey was not made alone since he was accompanied by the lovely voice of the English singer Clara La San. Some will be blown away and others will travel with Neptune, but the EP guarantees an unearthly experience.

Au hasard d’un titre on découvre une basse groovante sur un beat chaloupé et des notes de synthés aux mélodies lo-fi et mélancolique. Flume rôde, Siriusmo guette, Hudson Mohawke acquiesce. La musique de JUMO s’inscrit dans cette mouvance électronique à la fois tendance et contemporaine. Elle mélange les genres, brouille les pistes et magnifie l’audace grâce à une production léchée. 
Solitaire schizophrène traversant les rues sombres d’un Gotham City à la recherche du sens de la vie, JUMO se projette dans le réel et dans ses rêves et nous y ouvre ses multiples portes.

Throughout the EP, JUMO becomes a storyteller where each track acts as a chapter: the main character is hunted by a tortured personification of his unconscious, which results in an audio-visual experience, reflective of the intricate conflict of the two. Composed of 5 chapters, JUMO journeys through a fable exploring the duality of birth, temporality and consciousness. By depicting antagonistic voices for these themes, the producer transcends the apparent paradoxes to create a nuanced and imaginative world, where “Hylé” finds its purpose. The process for the EP’s music composition and narration began in October 2013 and lasted a year. Recorded in Paris, “Hylé” is the result of an introspective work using different medium such as music, videos and graphic designs. Consequently, the EP had the time to mature in JUMO’s mind and continues to do so with the interpretation of others.

As notes and words formed the LP, it was clear that Manganas Garden’s music was filled with a whirlwind of nostalgia, hope and anxiety. The group matured through a journey in the world of Manganas, steered by capricious winds on agitated water and comforted by the warmth of a ruby red sun, of which you receive glimpses and echoes in the form of musical postcards. Throughout the LP, we follow the group in these fragments of time and memories through the twists and turns of their journey, a dualistic carousel: Often oscillating between melancho- ly and hopefulness, angst and love, the music portrays the dichotomy of their world in their search for the Garden.
