Did Daft Punk and the eighties just have a perfect love child? 'Runnin around' is like a warm bath, a familar yet refreshing mix between Nu Disco and guilty pleasure throwback pop. Zak Waters' voice reminds of a soulful version of Fun's Nate Ruess and completely draws us in. Plus, according to his lyrics, he is totally crushing on us! Rooted in the glory of 70 ‘s disco and driven by Ame- rican 80’s R&B, their unique sound echoes in symbiosis with the classic Ver- sailles pop from Gothenburgs bay area to the beaches of Côte des Basques. The music is reminiscent of George Duke anno 1982, combined with the vibes of Phoenix, Lemaitre and Daft Punk.

As notes and words formed the LP, it was clear that Manganas Garden’s music was filled with a whirlwind of nostalgia, hope and anxiety. The group matured through a journey in the world of Manganas, steered by capricious winds on agitated water and comforted by the warmth of a ruby red sun, of which you receive glimpses and echoes in the form of musical postcards. Throughout the LP, we follow the group in these fragments of time and memories through the twists and turns of their journey, a dualistic carousel: Often oscillating between melancho- ly and hopefulness, angst and love, the music portrays the dichotomy of their world in their search for the Garden.

Official Description:

CONSOLE WARRIORS are a 3-piece Alt/Indie Rock outfit from Adelaide, South Australia. Bill Meegan (vocals/guitar/bass) and Fionn Tschanz-Bartleet (drums/backing vocals) formed Console Warriors in mid-2010, before joining with Danny Catalano (bass/guitar/backing vocals) and have just released their debut EP!

The band has sadly broken up and all the members have gone off on their separate ways. However, they created a small following and their music is still loved and respected to this day. I wanted to upload all of their songs as a museum of some sort, to hopefully have the guys gain some much deserved attention. On a personal note, these guys are probably one of my favorite bands ever, which is a reason for why I'm doing this As reminder, I OWN NONE OF THEIR MUSIC. I HAVE UPLOADED THESE IN FAIR USE.
