It’s been a while, but we’re back to bring you some new DJ mixtapes! From now on YUSU is going to take over the production & execution of the DJ sets. Expect some heat the upcoming months! YUSU curated a diverse selection of talented & upcoming DJs and asked them to come by for a coffee, and of course to drop their latest favourites. This girl has been playing in almost every nightclub in Amsterdam and brings you vibes like no one else! EP. 56 - TIDA KAMARA

We organized a special event during Keti Koti this year! Our DJ friend Bri a.k.a Prince Pasensi came by and he played some crazy bangers for everyone. This mans is already in the game for ages and is one of the most experienced DJ's we know. Even the frame of the camera is not big enough for this legend! Anyway enjoy his mixtape and show some love!!

We organized a special hangout event together with our friends from VENU. The first DJs we would like to introduce to you all are: KINGDOM SOUND. These boys are not only very handsome, cool & stylish… they are also super talented musicians. The boys are playing at multiple festivals this summer (even North Sea Jazz wajooowwww) and we wanted to tease you with this breazyyyy as summer mixtape.

We organized a special hangout event together with our friends from VENU. Our friend T-SHA came by and she played some crazy riddms for you all. Maybe you have seen her play during a fashion event, club night or at a festival, because she (and her DJ partner Nellzz of BLACKPRINT) are going places! We are really happy having her, because she brought good vibes, good tunes & good dance moves! Shout-out to T-SHA! Hopefully see you at one of our next events!

Last weekend we took over the Sexyland World to record some new mixtapes together with the TOAST family. The first DJ we would like you to check out is our friend, producer and master behind the decks: KEVAS. This experienced house DJ is not only very sexy in front of the camera, but also knows how to get the people dancing. This mixtape is groovy, summerish & perfect to listen to while enjoying your last day of the weekend.

Its Kick (one of the three) from: @yusu.selectors! Unfortunately the others couldnt make it, but he killed it on its own. Especially because it’s his first (recorded) mixtape ever and he is still in the beginners fase. Anyway if you wanna party, dance and get into the mood make sure to check it out!

We organized a special hangout event together with our friends from VENU. The third DJ we would like to announce is our friend and multi talent: VELEZ. This legend has his own resident party in the bitterzoet called: The Joint, and believe me... if you haven't been yet... your lacking. Its always packed and the vibes are always crazy! 

VELEZ has been playing at many festivals and clubs already. His sound is very diverse, but he is mostly influenced by HipHop and R&B. For us its really important to see someone having fun behind the booth and VELEZ is definitely enjoying every set he is playing. Anyway check out this mix, cuz itssss a banger!

EP. 63 - VELEZ (YUSU X VENU)

We organized a special hangout event together with our friends from VENU. The fourth dj is actually a DJ team. The YUSU selectors just started playing and this is their first mixtape ever. In the beginning there was a bit of an issue with the DJ booth (as you can hear haha), but after this moment they murdered it. Expect some afro, edits & hiphop flavor. For their upcoming ADE party we partnered up with KLEAR to bring you some of their resident DJs & get you excited for the big night. First is DJ Duo Chamos who delivered an BANGERRR, upbeat, fun set when they came through the studio. We decided it would be a good idea to use the SKANDL MUSIC platform to highlight some of our favourite venues that our city has to offer. A few weeks ago we teamed up with the good people of VERONICASCHIP to host a selection of some Amsterdam DJ talent.

For the third set of the collaboration, Amsterdam DJ ENTICUS came through to play us his favourite future tracks, mixed with some house and up-tempo beats that got everyone moving. The 18th of October he will play another crazzyyy mix at KLEAR Amsterdam (ADE) and we promise: it's gonna be a banger!!

October marks a special time of the year for us, as Amsterdam Dance Event attracts the worlds best DJs from all sorts of genres, whether it's Electronic, House, HipHop, or something else all together. We had the chance to link up with China based DJ @tsunano at our studio, where he delivered a banger of a set, and even debuted his latest project with French artist Aazar, which was unreleased at the time. Check it out!

SEASON 1 was an unreal experience. With this last set we would like to thank everyone involved in making Skandl Radio a reality. Your support and continued involvement means the world to us, and it's why we do all this in the first place.

During Amsterdam Dance Event we got the change to link up with several international DJs, which was awesome. For the 30th episode of SKANDL MUSIC we had the pleasure of hosting Seoul (KR) based DJ @fallens. The energy he brought, and tunes he played during his set gave us a glimpse into what the Korean music scene looks like. A well balanced mix of international bangers, RnB, and Korean songs made his set a special one, and unlike any other we have had on the show. Check it out! ✨

The 5th DJ we have in store for you guys is @augustmae! He came through and brought some good vibes with him, delivering a set composed of HipHop tunes, funky edits, and beautifully mixed bangers. You might have seen him play the Amsterdam scene, killing it at events such as KLEAR and UNWISE. Needless to say, this set is definitely worth checking out.

The first set we want to share with you is by none other than @listentowax. His carefully curated set really hit home and has us missing those long summer nights with the homies. Waxfiend is also known for founding Jamrock (one of Holland’s most successful parties) and has produced award winning mixcd’s of Dutch artists such as Kempi and The Opposities. For the 3rd set of our UNWISE collaboration we had the pleasure of welcoming the one and only @ja-el to the stage! In anticipation of his upcoming album he previewed some of the music that has influenced his creative process in recent times. Being a fusion of world sounds, his set bridged several genres, from HipHop, Afro, R&B, as well as his own tunes. Since events are not happening for the foreseeable future, JAEL made sure to keep you going virtually by curating this a banger of a set for you! 

But there is more... his latest single “W/ Me” is coming out Friday, May 29th, so make sure to show some love and stream it on your favourite platform.

For the 4th set of our UNWISE collaboration we had the pleasure of welcoming the legendary @juanbeukeboom ! From the moment he walked into the club we knew that this was going to be a unique and memorizable mixtape.... and guessed what: he killed it! Juan played multiple funk edits produced by himself and actually created a little (1,5 meter distance) party for the people backstage. Make sure to check out this crazy baile funk mixtape and believe us it is very difficult not to move your hips!

It’s time for the 6th DJ of our collaboration, and it’s none other than @jules-official Radiating confidence, he came through to deliver a sick curation of tunes, beautifully arranged to make up his set. It ranged from summery Caribbean beats, to the slickest hip-hop bangers. When he’s not spinning records, you can find him producing his own songs, both beats and vocals.
