Jazzman Wax:
Has a long history in the upper echelons of the industry with music signed to every major label you can think of, such as Strictly Rhythm, Dftd, Nervous, Robsoul, Madhouse, Too Many Rules, MoodyHouse... In 1989 Michel Baumann started spinning as a Hip Hop DJ at local jams in the Stuttgart area. In 1991 he became infected with Chicago and Detroit based House music whilst working at a record store. Michel would go on to become the owner of a couple labels himself, namely Philpot-Records and Phil e.

He also records under the alias Soulphiction crafting musical outings with a touch more funk to them, which I'm sure you will know well. Back though to his Jackmate alias and he will soon be dropping a tasty new EP on the freshly minted 18437 Records. This new label is focused on the outer fringes of House and Techno and run by none other than Tooli of Local Talk fame. After teasing everyone with his recent 12" for Matthew Herbert's Accidental label, Jackmate is in full swing here. He also does Workshops for production and mixing, online and one on one slots, just send a PM him if interested!
