Track played for the Anafrog's june 2010 compilation. All is recorded and played live, no multitracking. The sound is directly captured at the output of mixing console. Only an Digital Echo Delay effect has been used. For the list of the instruments check the comments.

First test of the MOS-LAB Kobol Expander III, the expander is driven by an external sequencer and runs on it's own, no external effects. The two VCOs are driven by the sequencer, the DECAY time of the filter envelope is controlled by another row of the sequencer to create accent. The resonance is modulated by one of the LFO while the second one modulates the waveshape of the second VCO.

I have been testing my new Korg Odyssey. It's a live improvisation with Odyssey (lead), MiniBrute (bass sequence), Ambika (mellotron like pads) and Oberheim SEM

Two oscillators one in supersaw the second in saw and in tune with the first. Steiner VCF (new brand), small sequence with an external ping-pong delay. The sequence uses the velocity information to add an accent on the VCF.  ENjoy !

Du temps où je croyais pouvoir composer de la musique, voici une compilation de quatre morceaux que j'ai monté ensemble. J'ai récupéré ces morceaux réalisés en 1979 avec mon Crumar Mutiman S et mon tout premier Synthétiseur Modulaire fabriqué maison (le US1). Le tout était enregistré en son-sur-son sur mon magnétophone à bande Akai 4000DS MkII. La bande aujourd'hui a perdu ses aigus en grande partie donc la qualité sonore laisse à désirer. A 61 ans aujourd'hui je surmonte ma timidité pour rendre public mes errements musicaux juvéniles. Peut-être aimerez-vous, qui sait ?

So many years ago, back in 1979 I vainly though I could compose music. Here is the compilation of four pieces I recorded with a Crumar Multiman S, my very first DIY modular synthesizer (the US1) on my old tape recorder (Akai 4000DS MkII). Unfortunately, nowadays the tape has lost all the highend and the sonic quality of these recordings is poor I'm afraid. Anyway I hope my musical stammering might please you, who knows ?

Improvisation captée "live" avec un enregistreur à micro zoom (pas de son ligne et perte de la stéréo) lors du tournage d'une vidéo pour Arturia. Instruments utilisés en direct : modulaire Yusynth drone et effets spéciaux en intro et final du morceau. Séquence principale et éléments rythmiques au modulaire Club of the knobs. Memotron en divers endroit, Ambika (pads de cuivres), Microwave Waldorf, leads au Matrixbrute Arturia.

Du fond de mon appartement en confinement depuis 5 semaines déjà je vous propose cette improvisation autour d'une séquence rebondissante et chaloupée. Enregistré live, pas d'editing, ni reprise ni quoique ce soit. Je ne sais pas ce que je joue, c'est ce qui sort au moment où je le fais. . Instruments joués : effets spéciaux : modulaire yusynth, séquences : Minibrute-2 et poly-D (ratchet, basses), leads et pads : memotron, ambika, roland 700 et Matrixbrute.

François m'a demandé d'improviser au piano quelque chose de doux évoquant la phase de tranquillité correspondant au passage de l'oeil d'un cyclone.
