I had so much fun playing this set that travels through house, tech-house, progressive house and techno! 

Wicked costumes, electrifying atmosphere, epic dancing, it was an honor to play a peak time set at the Ymir Witches Brew Halloween Party_2024 edition, a night celebrating talented female artists with Poetry, DJs, a fashion show, and captivating dance performances.  

Was also an honor to share the stage with female local talented Dj Jazzy jo @djjazzyjo, Dj Orita @carola-plzza, Sistersun @sistersunmusic and HAYLO @hayley-martin-44. 

All the tracks played are from female identifying producers (exept from ''Eres una puta'' from producer Hernan Bass).

Hello my friends and Welcome to another back to the Melee Report! Thanks for your patience as I've been on a much needed vacation for the past few weeks. Now I'm back to bring you all the astro weather you never thought you needed set to all the music you never thought you'd hear! 

In this weeks exciting episode we talk about Mars stationing direct in Cancer as well as Venus making their retrograde station in Aries. We also unpack the new moon in Pisces and tune into our inner depth, and collective consciousness through sailor songs and themes of universal love. We wrap up this weeks show with some cautionary tales about over indulgence as the Sun comes into a square with Jupiter to round out the week. After a lot of hard work, I’m sharing this new release: a remix of Pictures of You by The Cure, one of my favorite bands.
I wanted to take the nostalgia of the original track and turn it into something that makes you travel and dance. I hope you enjoy it, and I’ll keep working to get better!

Yutaka Fontaine is a dance music production duo from the majestic island of ‘Oahu, Hawai’i.  The pair had each carved out their own careers in the music/entertainment business, working on and off with each other throughout the past decade.

Like many others in the industry, Yutaka Fontaine found their world turned upside down in the midst of the pandemic, but during that period of silence, their sound was born.  

In late 2022, YF started showcasing their work through weekly remixes on SoundCloud, and when their remix of Teriyaki Boys’ Tokyo Drift, Ninjas in Tokyo, got some traction, they made the commitment to dive full-time into the music.  

Currently, YF is staying committed to their weekly releases, however, now it’s with an entirely original music catalog.  The sound ranges anywhere from indie pop, nu disco, tech house, progressive house, to break beats.  

So why the masks?  It’s always been about the music…  Themes of trying to deal with feeling self-conscious and insecure in an increasingly intrusive media based society resound through the records as Yutaka Fontaine invites you to share their sonic intimacy through the soundwaves.
