“Mambo’ is a smoltering dance floor cut from Argentinian producer Dobao. 
The second single off of his much-anticipated album ‘DOBAISMO’ for Lips & Rhythm Records comes with a driving funk groove over Latin and Disco percussion. 
The backing choir gives a real timeless feel between Dobao’s commanding vocals and bouncing synthesizers to bring it all home. 

This one is sure to pound the dance floor all summer 2022!

For their new release PULZARVA002 the Berlin record label PULZAR Recordings (@p-u-l-z-a-r) is cooking up a various artists fundraiser double compilation. Curated nicely with international artists the first part of the release (002.1) features Techno music while the second part of the compilation (002.2) contains Trance music.

The money will be donated to the K41 Community Fund (https://k41community.fund). K41 is a prominent Techno club in Kyiv that offers shelter and support for Ukrainians in general and creatives in particular.

A record release party will take place at the Berlin club “Zur Klappe” on July 22nd (https://ra.co/events/1730014).

Record store owner, DJ, producer, and digger extraordinaire @tomnoble comes to RNT with a superb edits EP of sought-after Caribbean and African sounds. The A side burns hot right out of the gate with the explosive and percussive Soca-disco pulse of They Came To New York, then settles into the laid back lilt of Zouk Pour Esa. On the flip, Disco Massamba is a wild ride of an Afro-disco burner and Parang-A-Teng brings it back to the Western hemisphere for some Latin-tinged funk from Barbados. Well worth it for the value of the original source material alone, this 12” is nothing short of dance floor destruction!

@JohannesAlbert ’s Frank Music returns mid-December with @David_Jackson ’s ‘Broken Heart’ EP, a four-track collection from the German artist.

The budding young producer and DJ from Heidelberg has been steadily gaining attention over the past few years since stepping onto the scene at just sixteen years old and releasing material on Blank and Kerri Chandler’s MadTech imprint.

Picking up support along the way from BBC Radio 1’s Monki and Pete Tong who got the early tip on this EP and named ‘Eire 2000’ as essential new tune back in September.

‘Hjärtesong’ is a trance leaning dream sequence of wandering chords, airy pads, vacillating bass tones and eighties tinged synth licks, while a Swedish language lesson is tucked into the depths adding a further dreamlike mystique.
