Director's Commentary:

I recently went through a breakup and have been reevaluating a lot of things about myself. Basically, I'm trying to write the most stereotypical college songs there ever were.

I wrote about four songs for this album. The rules were that each song had to be a pop song so I tried to write catchy hooks, which ended up being difficult because I liked two of the songs too much and wanted to record them for the next Bobey album. The other song I wrote for the album was not universal enough to be a pop song because of an odd time signature and weird hook. 

This page has started gaining more momentum than I ever thought it would, and some of the artists in the group have been putting out some amazing work. For these reasons, I didn't just want to put out a song that "wasn't good enough to put out on a Bobey album". I really wanted to write something that I was proud of and would show people that I take the collective and other artist's work seriously.

This song is about learning to trust myself falling for people. A lot of my identity was wrapped up in my last relationship, and it's taken a while to relearn who I am without that person. 
It's about learning how to be vulnerable without worrying about the consequences.
