Yuzuru Sadashige - Composer

Yuzuru Sadashige was born in Japan.  He received awards and honors from the Society for New Music, Vienna Modern Masters and The Percussive Arts Society.  He was a composer-in-residence for the American Chamber Music Festival at Edsvik, Sweden in summer 1999.   He has written music for Actors’ Company Theatre, choreographer/dancer Mei-Yin Ng.  Film score for an independent film ANA: Portrait in Days (directed by Liselle Mei) received the Best Original Film Score for the New York University First Run Festival. 
“Third Tribe” for flute, djembe drum and piano was recorded by Alejandro Escuer on Quindecim Recordings. He is an electric bassist /guitarist/songwriter of art/alternative rock band Changing Modes which has released seven albums (www.changingmodes.com).
